I love my husband dearly. He's a complicated man. He doesn't like too much. The only thing he really likes is sports. He doesn't like parties. I want to do something special for him. Does anyone have any unique ideas that I can celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. NOTE: we have been together for 13 years.

Can you make the celebration a two-day affair? If so, do something quiet together where you can express your feelings to each other. A quiet dinner, a little dancing, a lot of smooching, and then you know what. The next day, attend a sporting event that you both will like.

Take a cruise or vacation to an island.....
Candle light dinner for two ...with a private dance....
It's kind of hard without knowing what a regular night out for you is like....but try something you too can do together...a couples massage is nice...
