Definitely a balance but of the two I would prefer a good listener. I find that some talkative guys who talk about themselves a lot are a little bit too egotistic and self centred. I'd rather have a guy who is caring and listens well even though he can't hold up a conversation. That could always be improved.

A good listener who knows what to say when I'm sad.... or who will talk when i dont feel like talking.

Both, at the right time. Talkative guys are awesome, but not when you've had a bad day and want to vent!

good listener. just because i don't like talkative guy. i feel like i have to response when someone is talking to me, and that can get tiring sometime.
oh well, and i should you that i don't like to talk. i am not your normal girl, so maybe i don't count.
