Tell him that you have different feelings now..you have grown into a different person...people are constantly growing and changing emotionally...tell him... don't continue to be in a relationship that you don't enjoy anymore....move on and be strong...

You know him better than anyone here. You know how he responds to things, so really you're the only one who can answer this question. It's a hard thing to do, esp. if you've been with him for a long time. Who knows though? Maybe he'll be relieved. Maybe's he's not in love anymore too? Think about it some more and try to do it the nicest way possible.

There's the initial rush of being 'in love', then that disappears after awhile and moves into a deeper kind of love. Are you saying that deeper, different love is absent too?
There's nothing you can do but sit him down and be honest. It'll hurt both of you but you have to tell him eventually.

Tell your man that your feelings for him have changed. Are you sure its the love that has fallen and not the lust? Be certain- if you want to move on be honest with him just tell him how you feel- their still might be ways to fix the relationship. Dont give up!

tell hI'm I don't feel the same way I felt about you before. I feel like this is going nowhere or. I don't want to be your lady anymore.
NEVER do a breakup/im not in love with you anymore over the phone, text, email, anything that is not face2face. It hurts more if your not face 2 face, it seems like your not sincere about your feelings

Oh brother! That's tough.
Only one way, I'm afraid. Tell the truth.
I don't know him so I'm not sure which approach will work but I'm sure you can find out. Here's hoping both you and him can move on.
HOWEVER, if there's commitment involved, i.e. family/kids, be sure of what you're doing if you want to break something off.

You don't want to live like this for ever, so you have no choice but to let him know how you feel...if you're not in love anymore then you should just let him know...obviously you were not in love with him to begin with, I believe when someones in love, they stay like that for ever with the same person through out life...just let him know how ur feeling and I'm sure he'll understand if not then he'll just have to move on with life...it takes two to be in love...if one can't love then there's no relationship there...good luck hun...

I'm struggling with the same problem right now. I'm thinking that just saying it, is the best way. Things just aren't working out. We deserve to be happy and not stuck with somebody we don't love just because we don't want to hurt feelings. It's our life and life is too precious to waste being unhappy.

think hard and serious because you will hurt him when you tell him that and it doesn't matter where and how gentle you tell it.
if this is what you want, he will appreciated in long run that you tell him the truth and let him move on and you find someone to love. Just don't expect him to take you back when you come to realize, let said you can't stop thinking about him.

maybe you should break it down easliy for him, Maybe you should take him on one last date than that same night you should tell him that I think that I want to see other people. And Maybe he is going to say the same thing. But you need to let him down easy just in case.
