We are a family with 2 young kids and not enough money so decided to get a lodger. She is great in many ways although a little young and a little thoughtless at times. How can I approach some of the issues without causing friction? For example, wine spills on carpets, washing up left in the sink for a few days.... Nothing is major but the lack of thought bothers me!

I am not a bigot but i have noticed that alot of white kids disrespect thier parents and the parents dont do or say anything. They let their kids do anything. If they do punish the kids, it's only something minor like their cell phone taken away, the stereo gone, or no weed smoking during a school night. Some of them even hit their parents. OMG. The kids tell the parents to get out of "thier" room like they are the ones paying rent or mortgage. I mean growng up i was deathly afraid to tell my mother to get out of my room or to back off, kiss my a**, mind your own business. Even if my mother was wrong. Toddlers in the grocery store are cussin their mother's and father's out. Today at 22 with my own house, car, and bills i am still afraid of her. I hold a value of respect and i will not one time raise my voice at her or disrespect her in anyway. I am not saying blacks kids dont disrespect thier parents but the majority that i have seen are white kids acting this way.

I like this guy.Would like to date him.Were both in out 40s.Weve been friends for yrs.Weve both been married and divorce.He just recently got divorced.Im not sure where this may go.Ive asked him if he would like to go out with me.He said he didnt want to ruin our friendship.Fine.He kept flirting with me.When I tell him to stop it & say itll never happen,he tells me you never know.So 1 day we chatted again about possibly dating.He said he didnt have an answer for me.Fine.I figured hes just not interested.Soon after,I asked him to do me a favor and he said he would, then 3 wks before hes suppose to do me the favor he starts saying he doesnt want to.The very day before he left a mess.on my cell & backed out w/a totally different reason.Wouldnt tell me why.When I asked him;he got all pissed off at me & told me why.Then told me I just dont give a s**t!Now, if he's not interested in me,why the hell would he say something stupid like that?Why did his feelings get hurt?Im confused?OMG!

What age difference is okay?What are the pros and cons of older women/younger men?Personal experiences with successful or not so successful stories?I have been approached by younger guys all my life and I've dated some.My ex was 3 yrs my jr, but there's a big difference in 3 and 12.My sister says that it's disgusting to even consider dating someone that much younger than me.I want to keep my options open, but I don't want to be foolish.I try to consider men individually and not put them all in a box.My sister says that I am step away from molestation.That's insulting.I have never been interested in a child but at 22, a boy should be a man and if he acts childish, I don't give him the time of day. My daughters are 11 & 14, so I have to be VERY careful about who comes around them and what his intentions are.I rarely date. I really need advice my son's dad and I are working things out and we live 3 states away he will be moving with us next month my problem is that his friend is getting married and went to his bachlor party last night and the party was at his friend's and his friend's fieence house and her friend was there I guess he said it turned out that the her friend was a girl we went collage with abd had classes with her and he told me that was so weird and was acting strange on the phone and he call me 2 times a day and he did not call me intill 6pm last night which was odd for him and he seemed so strange shoild I be upset?or worried? i really like this guy that i met on a cruise a few weeks ago. we met at the teen night club and ever since i met him and danced with him i was all over him. i woul get angry if any of the spanish girls would try to get with him *i dont hate spanish ppl its just those girls were trying hard to get him away from me* everytime i danced with him i felt like a different person and he was the only guy on the ship that i danced with that i was able to be free with. btw since i am jamaican i mostly grind more than anything else and i was the only girl that was grinding on him the whole entire cruise. his brother had more girls grinding on him. is it me or am i miss lead? people think that he likes me because he mostly danced by himself or did salsa with the other girls but when it came to me it was different. please tell me if i'm right...

He's more of a doer and my kids and I are more laid back. My sons are 17 and 19. I'm not saying they're perfect, as they are kinda messy around the house, not cleaning up after themselves, leave things unfinished, that sort of thing. I know it's not right. But my husband gets very sarcastic and insulting with them. He has two grown sons and I asked him if he got sarcastic with them and he said yes, sometimes it's the only way to get the message across. I guess my question is, isn't there a difference between getting sarcastic with your own sons and with your step-sons?
