We moved from Hawaii a year ago and my eight year old daughter enrolled in private school. The school has a strict dress code and requires girls to wear dress shoes (patent mary janes or penny loafers). My daughter's teacher tells me she's constantly taking her shoes off in class. My daughter says the shoes cramp her feet, but I double checked the shoes and they're the right size. I think she's just not used to wearing dress shoes, after being barefoot most of the time in Hawaii. How can I get my daughter used to dress shoes?

I have loved my best friend for a while now. Two weeks ago he told me that he loves me too. Then, a couple days ago he said that he needs to think for a while.

Details:
*We live 6 hours apart
*His need to think coincided with going back to school
*He has never been in a relationship, I have been in a long relationship.
*I just want him to be happy, even at the cost of my own happiness.

I just had a baby July 26th (C-section) And When i came back from the hospital The apartment was a mess. He doesn't do any type of cleaning whatsoever. I wash his clothes my clothes the baby's clothes,and i'm just getting fed up. He always puts his clothes on the floor after work. Leaves the dishes upstairs etc.... he never picked up a vaccum or cleaned the bathroom. I mean i have to ask him to take out the trash,and when i do ask he'll say ok but then never do it until later. I'm getting to the point where that i might hold off the wedding for three years.

I am in a solid relationship with a man who loves me very much and whom I love very much. We live in the same city, but for job, school, and other logistical/practical reasons we don't live together yet and we may not move in together until December, but not later than December. That's pretty much when circumstances will allow us to comfortably live together. We are talking about getting married before December, but I'm afraid of what other may think about us being married but not living together, even if it's only temporary. What do you think? Is it a crazy idea?

I am trying to help my mom clean her house up. Every time I try to do this, she always says that I remind her of someone that is going threw stuff just to see what is there. I have tried several times to tell her that is not what I am there for. I am just trying to help her clean it up and that I could care less as to what she has. I know that she has some stuff hid. But what can do or say to make her understand that all I want to do is help her clean it up. We are going to be putting in a hospital bed in for dad, in the living room. We have to get it cleaned up for this. She really can't do all this her self as she had a stroke and is partly paralized. She is always right there when I am cleaning, no way around that. But the way she says it, ends up making me feel like I am snooping and I'm not. I don't want to hurt her feels either. She is 72 and dad is 83. She does want the place cleaned up. Can anybody give me any ideals of how to handle this problem.
