No! It should not be that way!!! Maybe in the early 20th century, but come on people, we've moved on! Women work now, and have all these rights and freedoms just as men do, so why shouldn't they also pay for things once in a while? My ex and I use to take turns, he'd buy, then I'd buy, and it's a great way to go. It's not fair to make the men pay all the time, they worked hard for that money, do you really think they wanna spend it all on you? Heck no! And if you do? You're sadly mistaken...

Sadly, yes.....it's exactly the same scenario where a male bird gathers twigs to 'beautify' his nest to attract a mate. Footing the bill's a pre-requisite for the man in the dating game. It shows you have the ability to afford a woman's attention, let alone her affection.
But the issue of footing bills could also help a guy hint to a girl about his true feelings for her. If he likes her, he shows by volunteering to foot the bill. If he doesn't like her, he could outwardly ask her if she minds going dutch. She'll get the hint that he's not into her or she gets turned off by his 'stingy' attitude.
So...instead of whining about it, guys...use this technique to your advantage!

I think that whoever asks the other person out should pay. This is usually going to be the guy. If you have a problem with paying, well, you are going to be going out much less.

You can ask her to pay... While you're at it, you can also stay home with the kids and make sure the house is clean while she brings home the bacon for you. Don't forget to stand on the chair and scream while she goes to kill those roaches for you...

When you take someone out on a date, you are inviting them to dinner, movie, or whatever. Do you invite people to your house and expect them to prepare dinner for you as well as for themselves?
