I do. Because he had some friends in the past that were into things that i don't approve of. I asked him to stop talking to them and I check the phone records to make sure he is keeping his word. I have nothing to hide and neither should he.

to find out who they may be cheating with or trust is a big issue

I don't because we trust eachother.
You do cuz u don't trust her, u feel she calls other men or cheating on u.
