I used to have a close friend. We fell out, badly, & for some time she made my life hell, saying things about me, shouting at me, accusing me of all sorts. We had both done wrong. I decided to stay out of her lfie for good, but for some reason she seemed determined to make my life miserable for some time.

After some time she calmed down on the abusive front, but there were long-lasting effects. I used to regularly go down to the local student pub with my friends, but I've been out once since 'the fall-out', & I find myself constantly scared. I make excuses so I don't have to risk maybe finding myself in the same place as her, like even cancelling on other good friends who know us both etc.

Leeds Festival (big outdoor music festival in the Uk, camp overnight etc) is soon, & we both have tickets. I'm scared of being somewhere near her. Thing is, my boyfriend really wants me to go. I want to go to be with him, and because its great, but I don't know if I can do it. Opinions please.

I've began to distance myself from many of my friends that we used to chill out together. I just feel like the things that we used to do together, no longer seem exciting and interesting anymore. I find it rather pointless. People say that I am just mature for my age, but is it really just me? or Can this situation justified by simply regarded as maturity?

Am I too serious to think that our time is running out, and we better get ourselves on the right track in building out our future through work, earning money and investing, vs. taking the time easy, and waiting for things to fall onto our laps?

I don't want to be stubborn if my view on life will lead me to regret. But at the same time, I don't want to follow whatever excuses to just be 'lazy' and waiting for things to happen.

so my boyfriend of 2 years dumped me for a younger girl & she lives 3 hours away. We have been broken up for 3 momths now because he said he wanted to be single. But then started dating this other girl 2 weeks later & they started saying "i love you" a few days after that. He was my first love and im still upset about it. I haven't talked to him all summer and I have loved it. School is starting in a week and i'm nervous to see him. I was wondering if guys usually regret breaking up with their girlfriends and if they usually end up calling them at some point. One more question...do you think that this long distance relationship has a good chance of working out?

For most of my life, I have been a very anti-social person. I have a select group of friends that I absolutely adore and I have a boyfriend, but most of the time I just prefer to be alone. And my mom and my step-dad keep on trying to force me into social activities, even though I have told them that they make me uncomfortable. I have tried to reason with them and nothing works.

Please, if you have any suggestions, I could use the help.

take it upon themselves to "ASSUME" you said something that you did not say? You know like assuming that you want them when they already have a bf/gf.....grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Hi , I have two kids with two diferent mothers and both mothers feel they shouldn't have to share the children with me.They have nothing to hold against me I don't smoke drink or do drugs. In my court papers it says that I can see them with 24 hr notice. So when I try to call to see them they say they have already made plans that way I don't get to see them and the kids don't get to know me.The mother of my son goes as far as to send him to a baby sitter just so he won't be there when I show up,(found this out fom one of her friends).Court papers say we have to seek mediation before going back to court so I set up a meeting with a mediator twice and offered to pay for there end of it and both times they refused to go because they knew there would be set visitations which is what they don't want.So the court said to file a contempt hearing against them for not going to mediation as ordered by the court. So I did, court said contempt denied. So I don't pay my child support. What do I do?

The girl I'm seeing wants to take advantage of the nice weather we're having. A picnic sounds like a good idea but I've never actually been on one/ know where to start. I know she'd like it but I don't want to be too cheesy. We're both college aged. What should I bring? How should I bring it?

my man cheated on me 6 months ago and decided 2 tell me 2 days ago. i have done so much 4 him. when he was unemployed, i worked my ENTIRE pregnancy to support him. when he got locked up for 30 days 4 some traffic tickets, i waited 4 his @ss. i feel so humiliated. i don't want to leave my house because i feel like everybody in town knew and was laughing @ me the whole time. i feel dirty knowing that he put his dick in some other woman and then put it in me without me knowing @ the time.
i punched him. i slapped him. i kicked him. i pulled his nuts as hard as i could. i smeared a dirty diaper in his face. i sprayed raid on him and i spit on him. i still don't feel any better. i don't want to work this out. he won't leave so i am making arrangements 2 stay in a shelter out of town with my son. i need to feel better for my son but i cannot stop crying. how am i going to get through this? i can't stop picturing him with her. please help!
