Hit in the balls !!?

I accidentally hit me mate in the balls when playing golf yesterday. Now he says his nuts hurt all the time. Should he get em checked out ? or will they stop hurtin after a while ?

I don't own any so I don't have any personal experience, but I'm thinking that a doctor might be a good idea...

tell him to ice them down. they will be sore for a few days, but, it will go away.
