so my boyfriend of 2 years dumped me for a younger girl & she lives 3 hours away. We have been broken up for 3 momths now because he said he wanted to be single. But then started dating this other girl 2 weeks later & they started saying "i love you" a few days after that. He was my first love and im still upset about it. I haven't talked to him all summer and I have loved it. School is starting in a week and i'm nervous to see him. I was wondering if guys usually regret breaking up with their girlfriends and if they usually end up calling them at some point. One more question...do you think that this long distance relationship has a good chance of working out?

I wouldnt hold your breath on the calling. He might regret it once school begins cause he won't have as much time for his new sweetie, but I wouldn't take him back even if he does call. He's already shown that he doesn't want to be with you, the wanting to be single was just an excuse. Move on. Find someone else. Be happy. Also, long distance relationships can be successful if the two people involved want it to work out.

First of all, your boyfriend/girlfriend status is over......so move on. Summer was good for the break. Stop worrying about him and if his other relationship is "going to work out"......it is none of your business, sweetie! Focus on yourself and enjoy you school year with your friends and activities. Don't start all kinds of gossip and rumors to all your friends about him......you will end up looking stupid. Take the high road.....be polite and friendly when you see him and let it go. This has happened to all of us girls.....it is part of growing up.

guys will regret it sometimes... but he's not worth your time.. he obviously wanted out and let him hve his fun, he will realize that u were a good girl but sit and pout about it.. Go have your fun.. date and hang out with your friends and if he decides to want you again.. then its up to you if he deserves you or not, but it sounds like he doesn't deserve you.
