I am not married, but believe it would be both challenging and rewarding (hopefully more rewarding than challenging). As I get older, I try to remain optimistic that one day I will be "happily" married, but the more I look around the more I wonder how realistic that truly is. Would anyone care to share what common misconceptions they had before marriage, and what they learned (or wish they knew earlier) after divorce?

1 week ago my bf decide that him and I should thake a break so when I go back to school how will I know that he still wants me? B/c before we broke up he said that he will be hung up on me for awhile if I cheated on him which I did but thats only b/c he didn't know how to do anything like: take off a bra, put a condom on, take advantage of the situation. How can I tell if he still wants me?

Me and my ex tried 2 be friends after he broke up with me. I tried it and I had a feeling that we wasn't feeling a connection. In our recent relationship, we was together like 5 years and I still have feelings for him. I want 2 b with him so bad that it hurts when I think about. We talk about it and he said that he need 2 think about it and it has been 4 months since we broke up. He said it isn't a yes or no question and he don't know. How can I get him back?
P.S.: I want somebody to give me some good advice. Please help me.

my husband and i have been married for 4 months now. cutting to the chase i love him with all my heart and know he loves me too. he cheated on me just a kiss with another woman. alright that's over and done wih ( I thought the hard part was over) Ok now he told me about a past girlfriend with a baby and he didn't know that it was his or not. Fine. alright now he had contacted her and the baby 2 months ago. he still says the baby is not his but yet assumes responsiblity for him. now the mother has contacted him again asking for his help to step up in a divorce that she is going through currently so she won't lose the baby. my husband has seen this child once and the man caring for the baby wants the child. I don't think my husband has told her about me and our marriage.. he says that he did though, but my trust in my husband is limited now. he lied before and is still lieing now and i don't know how to handle everything. i don't want to leave him.

What do you get when you lose that spark between husband and wife? I love him to death but we fight all of the time and we know eachother so well and we don't want to fight so we avoid each thing that could be bugging us and it doesn't help with communitcation when the both of us are not wanting to talk things out. I try and do my best with being out of work but he comes in from work and thinks that I have all the time in the world to do what he wants done. I don't. We are living with my family and we have a cat and a dog that need caring for as well. I'm trying my best but it never seems good enough and having my family needing help doesn't help much with anything. I'm sick of being ordered what to do by my husband that doesn't understand that I have to help my family as well considering we aren't paying them any rent at all. I also know that the only reason why I do as much as I do is also because I respect our relationship and don't want to just sit on my *** all day. What can I do?

I don't mean in a sexual manner. We have quite enough of that thankyou.

I just want to buy him something or give him somethign as a little surprise, just to remind him that I love him.

Nothing expensive or too extravagant, just something that reminds him how much I love him and will be a lovely surprise for him.

My husband does not want me to work. It's not like he's controling, he believes that they woman should not work, because it is the man's responsibility to be the bread winner and he feels extreamly guilty that I am working now. He's an investor and makes pretty good money, so that is not really the issue, also I wouldn't mind being a housewife, but we already have someone right now that comes in and cleans, and there are no kids yet, so what do ladies do who are housewives with no kids? I was thinking about going back to school to get my MA/PHD, I am pretty young as well ( 23)

My dad moved in with me 9 years ago when he started having problems with his eyes. It was supposed to be temporary but when ever we moved he packed up and came with. He was able to work for several years but never paid us any rent or helped out with bills or groceries. Now he has very poor eyesight and cannot work, gets very little for disability. hes a young man. only 59. I cant ask him to leave because he is my dad and doesnt have any money but he cant stay with me for ever. he cost money and is taking up space in my house that I could really use. What do you suggest?

I found my ex fiance cheating on me! We had been dating for 3 years, we got engaged and moved in about six month ago. Within the fifth month, the day after his birthday he went out with his brothers and friend to celebrate his birthday with the guy. Well that night a girl came up to him and gave him her number. Within a week he call her back they started dating. Within that month he slept with her 3 time with unprotected sex. I figure out there was something going because he only has one best guy friend and his younger bro which he chills with, which I very close too. The night I found out he had another girl he came home at 7am, He never did that! He was knock out by 8am I quickly look for his phone found the girls name and text mess. I quick confront him and left. I so hurt right now he want me back, I want he back! BUT WHAT HE DID IS THE TOTAL BETRAYL. Now the girl is calling me to tell me she pregnant, but that not my problem.

okay well me and my best friend were sappossed to go to warpedtour together and that weekend before we were talking all about it and what bands we really wanted to see. my friend katie didn t know hardly any of the bands that were going but she knew one and i was really excited to see alot of them that i knew. i had worked all day the week before so i could get the money and the day before i call katie and im like "ya so have we decided whos gonna pick me up and blah blah blah" and shes like yaa...i dont think i can go anymore because i have been asking alot of money from my mom and i feel bad. and so im like" o....well then i wont go if you dont". i was really bummed and the day after warped tour everyone was talking about it and i was telling some ppl how me and katies plans got ruin when one of the ppl was like "thats wierd...cause we sow katie over at warped tour w/ some other ppl". i dont kno what i should do. should i stop bieng friends w/ her. but shes my best friend. idontkno
