I am going through a really hard time right now and I thought I had finally found someone that I actually connected with. All of the sudden he doesn't want to talk to me any more. He said it was because he was having feelings for me. He said that he wanted to end it now so he didn't get hurt.

Should I respect him and leave him alone or follow my heart and not let him get away?

My question is, What makes a man controlling?

I ask that because i see lots of questions on yahoo and i have even had troubles with this. they seem to be nice no matter what background they are from, but then they become CRAZY! arguing all the time, doing things to irritate you just because, letting you know what is there's and whats not yours, telling family memebers about you so they can look at you crazy. So gentle men what is up with this kind of behavior?

If some women make them do all of this why would they want to deal with a person who does nothing for them, finacially, sexually. ect

money, so i got her a nice outfit. When i gave it to her, she acted as though she really liked it. But when everyone left, she then turned around and questioned me asking me WHY YOU DIDN"T GET ME ANY JEWELRY. I got really mad. I didn't go off and fuss i kept the madness to myself. Why do women/girls care so much about skinny, thin, big boobs, small ones? Please ladies just be yourself and that will make you happier than you trying to make yourself different based on what people think! The best feature to me on a woman is her personality! If you have a great personality and a good head on your shoulders then you are 100 times better off than a big breasted skinny woman!

I have a girlfriend who's first boyfriend was abusive and controlling. Everyone from her friends to her mom hated him. So by no stretch of the mind shes pretty cynical towards relationships and "doesn't like" dating (she does she's just still bitter). So she insinuates to me that she wants to break up/take a break, so I go ahead and tell her we should. She thanks me for being understandable and starts acting like she did before we dated (giving me the "look", flirting, showing alot of interest, etc.). I figured I should give her time to think things out, be her friend. Recently she started acting even more distant. We were supposed to goto a movie a couple of days ago, & when I called her (only twice) she never answered or called back & I havn't talked to her since. I was never needy or anything. Now I have reason to believe she got back with her ex possibly (due to a pic on her myspace)

I love my daughter. More than anything else in this world. I cant stand her mother. I didnt want to leave her because I wanted to form that relationship with my newborn daughter that I wouldnt be able to form if I lived away from her. My daughter is 13 months now I have put her before anything else in my life. But now I am starting to get lonely. Her mother which I am living with treats me like SHlT. I love her but she doesnt satisfy what I need Emotionally and Physically. She doesnt even care too, she will always tell me she is only with me because of the kids (she has a 6 year old son). am I doing the right thing by sticking it out for the kids or is it time to start thinking about my needs? would that be selfish of me?

i mean SICK he couldn't stay out of the bathroom more than 20 minutes (and all that this implies, sorry to be gross) but still wanted to whine about not having sex. is there something wrong with this or is it just me? i'm not young and have been married a couple of times before and he seems obsessed with it to me, he honestly has himself convinced he can't sleep unless he has sex and no amount of sex is ever enough for him, no matter how much he gets he wants more....this is abnormal in my experience, but what do you think? don't even guys get to a point where they have enough?

My husband swears my friends boyfriend has the hots for me.
Before my friend and him hooked up he was a huge flirt .With everyone . Now he has calmed down some . But my husband makes it very hard for me when we all get together.
My friend and I get along so well and I have a great time w/ her.
But I am soooo angry at my husband .I have told him this over & over and he says , " I know him and I dont trust him"

Yes, we're starting the ideas rolling already, as we're getting married! He got me a small 1/4 carat ring to wear while we run around & pick out the real rock - 1 Carat (lol).. I plan to keep the little one to give to our Daughter(AFTER we have one!).
Anyhow, my real query is this: I am paying for the Wedding, & my hubby-to-be's ring. *My Dad set me up with a $10K Dowry a few years ago for my wedding. HIS parents are expected to pay for the Honeymoon, by tradition. If we're spending $10K on the wedding, what is an appropriate Honeymoon budget? (He already wants to do a week in Hawaii, + a week in Australia or New Zealand.) I come from an upper middle class family, as does he. Him & his father own & run their own large construction business, so money is not quite the issue. But I want to know that I am not overstepping my bounds? (though HE is the one picking the honeymoon lol) I was thinking that no more than $2,500 or $3,000 should we be asking them to spend, if that! Any ideas?

Everytime my boyfriend goes somewhere with his friends I get kind of insecure and have these bad thoughts about him cheating on me. ( He doesn't seem like the type.) He's kind, charming, responsible, and just the perfect guy. When he gets home, he calls me and then I start to act like a real b***. What am I supposed to do. Guys please help me out. I have tried to talk to my boyfriend about and he says to solve the problem he will stop going out with his friends. I don't want him to do that. So what am I supposed to do?
