My question to you women is, did i overeact by getting mad, or was she wrong by being unthankful about what i got for her

Does a zebra have strips? Yes! She was being totally ungrateful; especially since you did not have much money you could have easily not gotten her anything at all! She is definitely materialistic. You had every right to get upset. I do have one question for you though. Why do you care about this if she is your EX girlfriend? You miss her? Thinking of getting back together? You must still have feelings for her.....

I would say she was wrong. There is no rule saying that a boyfriend has to ever get the girl jewelry. She was probably expecting some and didn't get it, which mad her mad. But I still say she should of been thankful for what she got.

Yes, she was wrong for being ungrateful. that's why she's your ex, right? If you both were in a relationship she should have known that you didn't have any money. And remember, you should never go into debt for any woman! If you can't provide her what she 'needs', you probably don't 'need' her!

She was wrong....the value of a gift is not in its actual prize, but in the love and care and attention someone put into it. If she only is interested in jewelry, she doesn't deserve a caring bf.
