My question is, What makes a man controlling?

I ask that because i see lots of questions on yahoo and i have even had troubles with this. they seem to be nice no matter what background they are from, but then they become CRAZY! arguing all the time, doing things to irritate you just because, letting you know what is there's and whats not yours, telling family memebers about you so they can look at you crazy. So gentle men what is up with this kind of behavior?

If some women make them do all of this why would they want to deal with a person who does nothing for them, finacially, sexually. ect
Thank you very much for the answers

lol, well that comment isnt sexist and a steriotype? but no i understand what your saying basically, guys are more controlling and freak out now because threw out time we have been respected as the head of the house who do control the direction the family/gf/wife goes in. Now that doesnt mean the wife/gf doesnt have a opinion, or that he can ignore it tho. But since now, women having jobs, basically guy jobs, and everything, makes them feel powerful and equal to me, so that translates to relationships, they feel they are equal in power and say..when really like iv said be4, only one person can drive a boat, only one capiton aloud...the crew or second mate arent less of people for being under him. But what im getting to, is there becomes a power struggle between wife and husband, he naturally wants it cause he is the man, the woman wants it cause sociaty and her magazines says she should have it....so in the end , they either break up, or have a crazy argueing all the time over controlling husband (or wife sometimes) ...because the other one gave up

And btw, women are super controlling, iv seen more cases of women wanting control and getting it and being crazy then the men.

Lack of confidence in who he is, and what he's really worth as person. It's easier to "make" someone act like you're something, than to actually be something.
