My family who has always been close nit, recently were told that they can no longer speak to my cousin. including her parents. They are Jehovah witnesses. She recently left her husband of 5 years and has moved in with another man. She said she is much happier in her new life considering that this is the man that she originally wanted to marry. Instead she married her ex because he was of the same faith and her parents were against the relationship she had with this other man. He is catholic. Now because of her decision the church has expelled her. And she has basically been disowned . I don't understand this. I love her very much and it pains me to see her hurting so much because she feels alone. She has always been a good daughter and supportive of all of those around her.And now when she needs their support they abandon her. I try calling her as often as I can. I too am catholic and the only one she talks to. I wish I could make it easier for her. Has anyone gone through this?

to see your guy wear... Boxer shorts? Tighty whitey's (reg. briefs)? Boxer briefs? Lo-rise briefs? Bikini briefs? Commando (nothing)? [don't just say 'nothing', if you're um, in bed & stuff- I mean everyday, everywhere, underclothing].
Oh, and if he's a kinda fat dude, say so when you answer "boxers".

Took her out for a drink and let her know the situation (I'm still "legally" married) and she kinda freaked out. I booted my soon-to-be-ex wife out of my house almost a year ago; it's just a matter of the courts signing off on the papers to make it legal. Now I want to go after this girl again but it's been a couple of months since our "date" and we've only talked a coule of times (hung out at the bar where she bartends after she's gotten off work)...she stopped returning my calls right after I let her know the situation but when we hang out, we really click. Conversatin is great, etc. Trying to figure out if she is staying away because of my situation or if she just doesn't have any attraction to me. Getting mixed signals...would like to know anyone's thoughts on what I should do. Thanks.

I dated this guy for over five years and we have had our hard times and good ones. We use to think we would last forever since we beat the odds. And now he started a new school and I just finished (I am ahead by two years). Things have always been a bit crazy but we never minded it. So last month an high school friend of mine returned from school and we hung out a few times and it lead to us kissing. I did not tell me bf right away but I felt the guilt. Not to mention my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and my bf did not at all offer support and this other guy was a really friend about it. I spent a lot of time crying without the support of my bf. So two weeks ago he asked me if we should break up and I told him if he thoughts it would be best for both of us, so he said yes. Later that week we saw each other again and I told him I kissed my high school friend and he told me he met someone. I do not know if it was karma or just the way things needed to end. I am heartbroken .

This is mostly a question for ladies who have (God knows how) managed to have successful, happy relationships with men.

How do you get your partner to quit doing something in bed that you don't like? Maybe everything else they do is fantastic, and you've been having a fantastic time, lost in happy-land, and all of a sudden they do that move that cuts off circulation to your legs or squeezes all the air out of your lungs. Trying to re-position him doesn't work - he'll just go right back to doing it. Do you say something right then? Do you hit him with the bedside lamp when he finishes? How do you address this issue without making him never want to sleep with you again?

Please help!

Ive been thinking of asking this girl out. But I have to do it in person which means I have to go to her house. Everytime I think about it I know when I get to do it I will freeze and not do it.

Should I just make up lies about what will happen, stop thinking, and ask this girl out?

(note: its not a lie if you believe it)

He is really nice and everything, but My ex's memories are holding me back from feeling anything real and intimate towards my boyfriend. Whta words should I tell him besides..."ITS over."
