being married rules. there is someone there to take care of you when you're sick, to help you take your car to the shop... to see the world with, to grow old with, to hate/love movies with ...

dated for 10 years... married now for 2. it just gets better and better. it is sad that so many marriages end in divorce, and sadder still that some people wish they'd never married. the only thing i can say is, this is the most important person in your life. choose them carefully!

oh, hell no!! Don't just marry someone because you want to be married..or,because you don't want to get AIDS, herpes, etc, what she said above. That is the most stupid statement I've heard in ages! Her's not yours. Wait until you fall in love and then even think about it two or three times to make sure. I married when I was 28, not to have sex without STD's, but because I thought I was in love (and I was) and because I was getting near my 30's. Marriage isn't easy to begin with, start with a person you love!

I got married at 19. I would never advise anyone to get married- ever, not even for tax reasons. A marriage license is nothing but false security, if two people truly love one another and want to be together, nothing can prevent that.

Anyone who's been divorced has been disappointed with marriage at some point!

I'm happily married and have been for a decade. This is my second marriage. (This is also my husband's second marriage.) My first marriage was a horrible, horrible, horrible thing and, while I was disappointed by it for a while, I don't regret it.

to be honest,my marriage died young....i was 18, still a college girl, and i thought i fell in love with this guy who became my husband and we have two kids, but unfortunately, we seperated beacause of clash in our personality.....we always drove into arguments..i was not satisfied with my decision before...but now that i am now single again, i am happy with this situation, cos i met lots of people, and i learn to value my being independent and being alone...
