There is no greater love, than to give your life for those you love and care about.
That saying does make you wonder, but, what do you mean by "save a loved one". Life threatening situation? I would die for them.
But if "save" has something to do with their choices or that they are engaged in something I do not approve? Then I would ask myself, to what extent can I interfere? How far should I push my "I just want to help" attitude.
Sometimes in order to "save a loved one" you have to consider the possibility that you are the "stone on the road" that must be cast aside.
Never stop wandering.
