Took her out for a drink and let her know the situation (I'm still "legally" married) and she kinda freaked out. I booted my soon-to-be-ex wife out of my house almost a year ago; it's just a matter of the courts signing off on the papers to make it legal. Now I want to go after this girl again but it's been a couple of months since our "date" and we've only talked a coule of times (hung out at the bar where she bartends after she's gotten off work)...she stopped returning my calls right after I let her know the situation but when we hang out, we really click. Conversatin is great, etc. Trying to figure out if she is staying away because of my situation or if she just doesn't have any attraction to me. Getting mixed signals...would like to know anyone's thoughts on what I should do. Thanks.

well in her defense she IS reacting in a normal way to being told shes "a chick on the side" (even said in a more delicate manner) i actually respect her for doing so, too many women in this day and age stoop to the likes of becoming a homewrecker on the hopes that "he WILL leave her for me" but anyway i would ask her straight up if the marriage thing scared her and if thats what it was i would hold on to her for a while it definatley means she has character and morale, if shes just not attracted then at least u'll know for sure (hope this helped)

You must be persistent!!!!! Send her flowers, send her cards, send her chocolates!!! I'm a woman and from a woman's point of view if you wanted me that bad you would have to show it much more than a stupid phone call. Women want to know they are the total object of your affection! Trust me don't let this slip through your fingers or you'll lose her for good. Also make phone calls after sending all these things. You'll win her over trust me on this! BE PERSISTENT!!!! Do not give up! Let me know how it goes.

VERY SIMPLE.
Ask her straight out.
Maybe she was being nice to you because you're a good tipper.

Sorry! I work with bartenders and some of them go out with customers that leave good tips even if they aren't interested in a relationship.

But maybe she is not like that, so the only way of knowing would be asking her .. don't you think???

Yeah. Women give mixed signals. They are confused, wishy washy creatures, not mysterious. So she needs you to bring the clarity and focus. Take charge.

Until you're legally single, stay away from her. She doesn't want to be brought into the drama. Good luck.

whell shes obviously not wanting to get involved with a man who is still married. so until you complete the paperwork i'd steer clear of her. she's just trying to protect herself even if there may be chemistry there between the two of you.

Back off of her until it is final if she has a problem with it. Maybe in the meantime you'll find some one else who catches your attention.

you cant change how she feels about you. but just dont go to her house because thats creepy, just go to the bar she works at and say hi and see what happens there. you have nothing to lose and so much to gain, so go for it. good luck and i hope i was helpful
