Y'know, those relationships in where the guy seems like a big brother for the gal. Besides I dont really know what girls mean when they say that their boyfriend is more like a big brother to them? Would appreciate some enlightenment, and if you can share some experiences too its good.

I'm dating this guy who I've been friends with for awhile. I thought I was terribly shy and inexperienced when it came to relationships, but this guy takes the cake. We started talking about becoming a couple 2 months ago and just recently started dating. The problem is he gets extremely nervous if I get too close to him (other than a hug). He's taking me on a vacation (just the two of us) which makes me even more confused as to how he can't work up the nerve to kiss me. That being said, there are two things I'm absolutely sure of. 1) He's straight as an arrow 2) he does not have another girlfriend and he hasn't had one for awhile.
Anyway, any suggestions? Any shy guys want to explain the cerebral functions of this fellow? Should I take it slower? Should I push the issue?

i know that they "have a right to" do that but they get too nosey. my dad isn't as into my business as my dad but he still bugs me. sometimes im writing a email to my friends and they'll just stand there and read it. they stand a ways away so my sister and i dont know that they do it buy we know. and my mom's way of getting me up in the mornings is to read notes that i have in my room. earlier today my mom was on the computer and she looked at the computer's history thing and she started questioning my about stuff. i finally broke when she asked me if i knew what a blow job is and i almost yelled, it's when a chick sucks some dude's dic.k. and i walked away. how can i tell them to stop minding my business? im a self reliant teen now and dont need my mother monitering my every move. i know right from wrong. if only my parents could see that

I am the youngest of three and the only girl. I moved out when I was 16. My Mom has been divorced for years now and has needed my financial support ever since. I am a full time student, so I decided it would be best for the both of us if we just moved in together until she could handle things on her own. We got along well at first, but things have gotten progressively worse. On top of it all, for the past few months she hasn't been paying her share. I am working less since this arrangement so I could spend more time on my studies. This is becoming a real burden for me and the stress is staring to show in my grades. It's difficult to talk to her about this subject because she's my Mom and I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable. My friends say I should put her out, but that idea is unfathomable to me. Any other ideas?

I'm a nonspanker, not because it might hurt their "delicate psyche" but because there are better means of handeling the problem liek taking away of priveldges and video games and such. Spanking just seems barbaric and ineffective in my mind. If it were a good way to teach a lesson you would only have to spank him once. We have known each other since 5th grade!?
And from 6th to 8th grade he would talk to me alot. He would always say that he hates me. And i would always tell him that i hated him too. But in 8th grade i asked him why he hated me and he asked me the same question, I would tell him that i didn't hate him. But he would insist that i hated him. Well he was a really annoying person. Why my son is so insensetive?
I'm divorced for 6 yrs now. I didn't want it but by husband forced me to divorce him. My kids are now 20 and 16 they live with me. It hurts me when I heard my son asking his dad on the phone how is his girl friend. This is not the woman who he left me for but also I know that my older son was friendly with that woman. I never had a date come to the house. My son never wanted me to get back together with my husband who he is very friendly with. My mom grew up in poverty.When young,she worked hard 2 earn money so that her brothers and sisters can get proper education.When she married, it was not exactly a happy marriage but she held on for the sake of me & my brother. My father died 10 years back & she had to work again after a gap of 25 years.I became an engineer and my brother a doctor because of her hard work. i had a love marriage 3 years ago,not exactly against her wishes but she was not exactly happy with it either.Now, after a big fight, my wife has walked out of my home.and my wife has flatly refused to try to reconcile.
my mom, in her old age, has to witness all this. She is upset all day. I WANT 2 MAKE HER HAPPY, BRING SOME CHEER IN HER LIFE. HOW DO I DO THAT. PLEASE ADVICE, PLEASE HELP ME.
