We have been talking about engagement the past year, but more so the past few months. He is away right now working at a summer camp for a few more weeks. He's coming home tomorrow for a break and earlier before he got off the phone I said "wait, I want to tell you how much I love/miss you". Then he asked about the ring.

Do guys say things like this just to make the other feel better? I don't want to get excited over nothing, esp since last summer he "accidentally" proposed to me and said I took it the wrong way.

My emotions
they are still so raw
raw from them
from what I saw.
I can still see the expression on his face
I can still feel him
his kisses I taste.
The look in his eyes
is truly unforgettable
I knew in that moment
our bond was breakable.
Its hard to say goodbye
to the way we were
the memories
they should last a lifetime
but I will still be living with regret
with what ifs on my mind.
All the things I wish we were
are all the things you have with her.
Its hard to think
of all the wasted years
all the heartbreak
shattered tears.
Now I have to deal
with all the things
emotionally I feel.
All the love
I still have inside
through my eyes
its so hard to hide.
I wish I had him back in my arms
I wish he was still here
to wow me with his charm.
These emotions
are taking my all
I can still hear his voice
from his recent phone call.
I want to let go
really I do
but I cannot forget
all we've been through.
I'm not what he wants
and that hurts down deep
I would take away the key he holds to my heart
but that’s a key I want him to keep.
We never had a chance
just him and I
I'm not his type
and that makes me cry.
I see something special
right inside his soul
He has this emptiness
I wish I can make whole
He has to let down that wall
and take me in
but until that happens
I have to sit back and keep him as my
best friend.

It all started almost 3 years ago he came home said he didnt love me anymore so he left me. I took him back after 2 months. then he tells me that he slept with my best friend while we were seperated. i gave him yet again another chance. then i find out he got her pregnant but he didnt know i knew that. i wanted him to tell me but he didnt. so about six months ago i had had enough of the dishonesty. Also, we have children together. He says that he cheated because he thought i did because someone told him i did and i never slept with anyone else but him since we got together. I alos believe there were others but he denis those.

I work for my sister who runs and owns a business. Couple of her employees have been going to lunch (at least for a couple of times now) and coming back to work smelling like alcohol. Now one of the employees have been a good acquaintance of mine and aware that she's been doing her job but i feel like i have a responsibility to tell my sister what was going on in her business but on the other hand I don't want to be the cause of someone's loss of a job. please help

I was working with this girl 6 months ago. We worked together for a week on reception. Getting along really well, and I asked if she wanted to be friends on her last day - she was a temp staff for a week.

She agreed yet I phoned her once or twice, she was too busy to meet me - she had a legit reason. But I've emailed her probably once a month and have never got a response. The thing is, she seemed really interested and she did respond once.

When we agreed to be friends, she even suggested that I have dinner with her and her partner sometime???

My last email basically went on about how its not polite to not respond to emails. The email before that said 'are you not interested in being friends anymore?' Obviously not interested, but is it normal that someone won't tell you, they'll just ignore your emails? Or could there be something else?
A thought that crossed my mind was that perhaps she had feelings for me, and didn't want that to interfere with her relationship. Any ideas?
