i am 20. I went through all this not too long ago. My mom never really had a bed time for me but i knew when I was tired. When i was 16-18 I did my homework, stayed up a bit and i was in bed my 10:30-11 o'clock.. 14-15 i would say 10-10:30pm. don't make a big deal and scream at them if they are not snoring at that time.. be flexable.. if not they will hate you..

Im 18 and i usually go to bed before 12 but for a teenager i suggest mabye between 10:00pm and 11:00 pm thats still enough time to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep to get ready for school.
ok thats my 2 cents
good luck with mom

During the summer my kids stay up as late as they want. They are 17 and 14. During the school year, they have to be in bed by 10:30.

I think 10 o'clock is a good time. Try talking to her about a compromise maybe this summer she could try for an hour later and see how that works. Good luck...8:30 is kinda early.

Somewhere between 11 pm and midnight. But if your grades start to slip or you are a pain in the butt in the am when your getting up then it goes back to at least 10pm
