My friend wants me to ask you guys this question, thanks:

I have been dating a guy very casually for about a month and a half. I say very casually because we only see each other once a week or less. We have different work schedules and both have stressful lives. I have two kids and work 40 hours a week. He is working 70+ hours, 6 days a week. He is looking for a job where we could have more quality time together. We have agreed to take things slowly (i.e. no sex). We think about each other all day. We both have confessed how much we love each other. I had no idea that a love like this could exist.

I would love to talk to him everyday, just to see how his day went, but I don't want to nag him. We haven't talked in four days, as he told me that he would call me. He has mild depression and is shy, he also gets embarrassed easily.

How can we keep our relationship going? I don't want to smother him. I think that he is “the one”.

i mean, i'm guessing it's more intense than loving a family member or something...but i see couples who have been married for while, and the love is so different than what you hear people talking about and in movies.

But we do have a very close relationship. He has been very supportive of me when my husband passed away a few years back, and he is like a brother to me. We hang out and spend alot of time together. We even take trips together. He has a girlfriend, and she has no problem with this. The man I am currently seeing, does not believe a man and woman can have a relationship like this without sex being involved. Therefore, he gets very jeolouse when I spend any time with my male friend, or with his family (whom I am also very close to). When a situation comes up that I am doing something with my friend, or with his family, the guy that I am dating gets upset and will go out with his ex-girlfriend(whom he has had romantic involvement). I feel he is using her to control me. He says if he's not going to spend time with me, then he will with someone, and he needs a back up girlfriend just in case. Should this attitude he has bother me? Should I give up the friendship I have?

I am leaving my hometown for 2 weeks and I am going to miss my boyfriend so awefully it isnt even funny. How can I enjoy my trip when I know I am going to miss him, and that I will think about him all the time? He can't come along with me.

the baby bug came on STRONG about a month ago and has not stopped. babies are all i can think about, having one, being pregnant, baby stuff, naming them, etc etc etc. Its an overwhelming urge yet my husband and I can't even BEGIN to afford a child right now, we barely can afford ourselves!!! This bug has me so enveloped I don't even care that we can't afford it... I need help figuring out how to "stifle" this urge until a more appropriate time.

My boyfriend and I have been going out since June 10th. He calls every other day. When he says he will call me back he never dose until the next day or the day after. He acts as if he dosent want to see me. I feel like he dosent like me anymore or what. Can you help me or tell me what tha heck is going on.

When my husband is on the computer, i ask him what he's doing. He's so vague and says just searching the internet. Then I ask what are you searching for? And he says stuff, if i ask again he will say I'm just checking bank accounts, football stuff etc....my husband gets angry at me when I ask for specifics and says what do I have to show you every single web page I was at?. He says that it makes him feel like I'm his mother or something when I ask him every little thing. But that is really not my intention at all, it's just my way of showing I'm interested in him, and he does not volunteer information. Can any men relate to this problem? And what can I do to keep from fighting with my husband in these situations? Help.

My 9 yr old knows NO history, virtually no math, and last year we basically had to teach him ourselves. The school system (not just a teacher issue) has gone down a lot. Am looking for others willing to share other experiences. . Also thinking of homeschooling 3 yr old since we know how bad the scools are! Both kids are very bright, but my 9 yr old bores easily, and the school is not challenging him to stay motivated.
I'm already a stay-at-home mom and used to having to teach him now, so I doubt there'd be much adjustment family-wise.Am concerned about the social afect if we pull him out of school
I understand there are several curriculums to use, am wondering what works well....
Any advice from those who've been there? Thanks!!

my dad is a 62 year old man, i have been proud of him, he does not look 62 at all. its like he on his late 40s im not even bragging, anyway let me get to the point, for 2 months now now he's had this weird looking thing on his bottom lip, its like this big, nasty thing with puss coming out of it. i mean its really weird, i dont even know what this can can be.

so he went to this nearest clinic and they prescribed him some pills which didnt work and that was a month ago. that thing is still there and he refuses to go to a hospital to find out what the hell that **** is(and no its not herpes)

i love my father to death, but i keep telling to go and he keep saying "they are not gonna do anything, they just gonna prescribe me stupid pills which will never cure anything"

im all like wtf.... im gonna drag him to the hopital by his lip if doesnt go by tomorrow, i swear, im 22 years old and he has no idea what effects this has on me. almost every night he has a fever and i dont understand, hes so stubborn...

please help me help my daddy, i love him so.
