The right body weight can definitely vary, so many people compare against body fat and other health factors. Whether it has any meaning in the relationship depends heavily on the romantic partner. Since weight has to do with looks, certainly other factors like personality, age, background, etc. can come into play. You should check with your doctor to see if you may be in any health risks, if you are concerned. But as for relationships, I say be who you are and enjoy your life. People will be attracted enough to that alone.

There is a difference between being healthy, and being thin. I think being healthy is much more important than the actual weight and size. I am not the most petite girl in the world, but I eat pretty well, and I exercise when I have the time. People are going to want to be with someone full of fun and energy for life, not someone who is constantly obsessed with what they are eating and whether those jeans make them look fat.

If a guy doesn't like you because of your weight, he is not worth being with. As far as losing weight, that all depends on how much you weight. For health reasons weight matters. There are kinds of things that can happen if you weight too much, such as diabetes and high cholesterol.

Weight only matter if affect your life or health. If your weight keeps you from doing everyday things then, you might want to think about it, but if not then don't worrie to much about it. To be honest with you I think many men today are given idea that thinner women are beautful, but that is not all true. We are all beautful in our own way. If a Guy is suppost to be with you he will like you because of your inner beauty.

I think appearance matters more to guys than to girls. But yeah, it does matter to some degree. I mean, think about this question urself would u go out wth someone more or less than what u picture a date/mate to be weighing or looking like with the pounds?

Look, if you are happy, comfortable and confident in your own skin that's all that should ever matter. People will like/love/accept you for the total package, not for just your dress size...unless your health is in jeopardy then that's a different story.

sadly there are alot of people who base a relationship on looks, it is not good. the only thing that is bad about wieght is that it is unhealthy for you in lots of ways, but as far as being able to find a mate people should start looking on the inside first wich is where it counts. people should want to be healthy because it is what is best for them, i mean it is hard to be a mother already and then add bein over wieght to that , it makes it harder, things like that, not to mention high blood presure , diabetes etc... i am in process of loosing wieght, i just got married in march of this year and my husband is hot, i am not...lol...i am ok but i am over wieght but he still loves me the same, so we work out together and i have lost 14 lbs the last time i checked! so you just have to want to do it to better your life not cause of society. good luck.

No weight doesn't matter, and it doesn't affect relationships. If the guy doesn't like you for who you are on the inside, then they are not worth knowing.
