I am leaving my hometown for 2 weeks and I am going to miss my boyfriend so awefully it isnt even funny. How can I enjoy my trip when I know I am going to miss him, and that I will think about him all the time? He can't come along with me.

Call him and text him. have him experience the trip with you.... where you are, what your doing, what was funny, what was exciting etc. That usually works!

Absense makes the heart grow fonder, as they say. This is a great opportunity for you to have some fun, just you. It's important to have time to yourself and your own experiences. Go have a great time wherever you're going and I bet not only will your boyfriend be delighted that you are back, but he'll be dying to here about all the cool stuff you got to do. I know you'll miss him and think about him, but it's only 2 weeks, not 2 years. You can also give him a call while you're there to let him know you're having a nice time but that you miss him and you'll be happy to see him when you return. You'll see! It will be fine! Maybe call him, send a postcard, email him, text, just find some way to communicate telling him how much you miss him and that you really wish he could be with you on your trip and that when you come home you'll see him right away.
