A 17 YEAR OLD SAY SHE DOESN'T NEED HELP FROM ANYONE EXCEPT FOR HER PARENTS AND FRIENDS. WHENEVER HER SIBLINGS OR RELATIVES TALK TO HER OR HELP HER, SHE WOULD PUSH THEM AWAY AND SAY SHE DOESN'T NEED THEM AND THAT IT IS NOT THEIR BUSINESS. SHE FEELS SHE DOESN'T NEED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OR GUIDANCE. SHE FEEL THAT WAY WHEN SHE WAS VERY YOUNG. EVEN WHEN SHE DEMANDS HELP, SHE WOULD NEVER ASK FOR HELP FROM THEM. WHY IS SHE THIS WAY? ALSO, SHE DOESN'T LIKE TO HELP THEM EITHER EVEN WHEN ASKED.

At first I didnt know what to think. Then finally I agreed, in theory, to try it. Finally I met a guy at work that I was into, told him about it, and I ended up hooking up with him. The sex was AMAZING, and I have met this man numerous more times. All my husband wants in return is to hear all of the details when I get home. AM I a bad person for liking this so much? It make my husband happy, and our sex life better as well. I hope I am not crazy, but I want to continue with this. Please dont use this to just rip on me, but any real comments or similar situations would be wonderful to read. I really feel I am "normal" in other respects. Normal job, normal friends, fit, have a good job, etc. Anyway, I am ranting now, thanks for any comments in advance.

but it ran out ages ago. He has been living and working in the US ever since. What on earth do we need to do in order to get married? Does he get automatic permanent residence status if we are married? Does he have to leave the country and re-enter? I'm lost and need advice. We are both scared that he won't be able to come back here if he leaves.

There's this guy, Ben, who likes Gen. Gen doesn't like him but she thinks he's a very sweet guy in a friend type of way. Ben asked Gen to give him a chance twice & she rejected him twice but when Ben was leaving the country for good, Gen decided to make Ben's last 2 days worthwhile so she snogged him, nothing more. However Ben has a roomate, Lex, who is clearly way more attractive & Gen decides to get with Lex after Ben leaves.
So, Ben likes Gen, Gen doesn't. Gen likes Lex & Lex might like Gen. Lex finds out that Ben likes Gen and he doesn't want to betray his roommate, but Gen doesn't understand this because Ben has already left the country. Lex also knows that Gen snogged Ben & he asked Gen why and her answer was just "to make Ben's last 2 days worthwhile". There is no relationship between any of them. My questions are: What do u think Lex should do & why? If you were in Lex's position what would u think of Gen? What do u think Gen should do? Sorry I know it's a bit confusing.

If you are married with children but you don't love your spouse, do you stay or leave? You aren't happy and always feel alone like you are on your own planet. I have gone to counseling, he won't come with me. We have seperated twice, only for a week at a time and have talked about divorce numerous times. He is waiting for me I guess to make the decision. If he isn't willing to get couneling, its a dead end right? Are there any other options?

Guess I want him to change and be an upstanding person and guess i still have hope. Don't want to get hurt anymore but scared. What did I do wrong to make him do these things? He hasn't worked but a total of 4 jobs aprrox. 30 days each before he gets fired or quits. WHat do I do?

I was watching this show last night 6/12/06 called "how to get the guy" in which love coaches help 4 single women find true love...this was from the dating manual..
WEEK ONE

Drop the Hanky:

1. Eye contact. Not just look him in the eye. Make eye contact for at least four seconds! And we mean "1 Mississippi…2 Mississippi…"
2. Smile. Show teeth! Nothing draws a guy in like confidence and approachability.
3. Proximity. Get in his space! The closer you are to each other the easier it is for him to talk to you.

The First Kiss
If the first date is a success, it should end with a kiss! If it doesn't, then it might as well be an appointment. There are certain things that you can do to get a guy to kiss you.

1. Break the touch barrier. It's one thing to flirt in conversation, but you are going to raise the bar if you can do a few inadvertent touches along the way it will let him know you want to be kissed.
2. Fiddle with his jacket or etc.

Question is...does this work?

she: perfect to the 't', she never gets anything wrong, house is sparkling clean, the food is on the table, the kids get the latest clothes and she has always got things sussed.
Me: a bit dim, conversationless, always with faults, house is a mess, food is on the table but no cuisine, the kids in last years clothes, i am trying to still find my way.
If i am jealous how do i overcome this problem, because i feel happy for her life, but i feel pressured into being like her and im not.

Hm...well, I like this guy. And, he's not the greatest guy to like.
I've known him for about a year. I see him almost everyday, but I only talk to him on occasion. He's good friends with four of my other 'girl'friends, and he talks to them and he's all good with them and stuff. And, it seems to be that he's like that with me too, but, he spends all his time trying to make me mad or sad. And, my friend said that all the time he spends with her, he asks about how to make me upset, but whenever I'm with him, he tends to talk about how much fun he has with her. He's smart when it comes to girls, and he knows that what he says gets around. For example, he told my friend (the same one mentioned above), that me and him were closer friends than she and him. But, I really do think he's only screwing around with my head. I liked him before, and he knew it, so, he was an asshole towards me, and I was crushed. I only want to be friends with him, but, I'm confused about what he's thinking.

I'm a romantic girl. To show a guy that I'm really interested in him on a 2nd date, what do I give him? Is flowers acceptable? Is a bottle of wine too boring? Obviously nothing sexy or full-on at this point... ;-)

My cancer was discovered in April 2000 and in its final stages. The doctors did not give me too much time to be around and told me to get my paper work all in order.27 major operations, which included an overdose of radiation, a burst ulcer (peritonites) and more complications did not deter me to live. I am alive but the side effects are boggling. My food and wind passage are both closed and cannot be reconstructed. I breathe through a stoma (a hole) in my throat and a tube attached to my stomach. I have not even tasted a sip of water in the last 5+ years! Being the eldest in the family I am expected to be the bread winner and have the responsibility of looking after my widowed mother,a spinster old aunt, my wife and two teenaged sons and do so.I am physically very fit.I work 14 hours a day (my job which I really enjoy) needs me to do the same. I get so exhausted at times that I wish I had died. Any answers to the stress I am going through as my doctors are scared this will kill me.

My fiance asked me to marry him on valentines weekend this year without a ring and I didn't mind at the time. He just doesn't have the money to buy me my engagement ring he keeps saying he'll save and get it but he hasnt. We still have some time before we are actually getting married (March of next year), but I want a ring. I feel funny going to look at wedding dresses or even just telling people we are engaged wearing his class ring. I make a little more money thatn him and I could afford to buy it myself but he won't let me. How do I approach this without hurting his feelings?

I was previously in a 4-year relationship with my 3-yr old son, father. He was involved in our son's life until he turned one years old. After that he decided to leave us. He moved to another city. He came back in November of "05, he's now living with his parents, and still hardly ever see our son. I pay $100 a week in childcare and he don't offer me a dime. He make at least $1000 a week. (I know you're thinking, why don't she have him on child support) His boss pays him cash... Anytime, I asked if his child can come over, he tells me no, but at his convenience he want to come get his son, like everything is fine.

Another thing, my son's grandmother is very selfish as well, the same thing with her, whenever I ask if my son can come over, it's always bad timing, but again, when it's convenient for her she want to come get him. I also must mention she's fortunate to where she don't have to work, I'm tired of my son only being able to visit at there convenience. What should I do?
