No, conceving is not dependent upon you and your spouse's blood type. So you can conceive even if both of you have the same blood type.

No. That is not true. It does not matter what blood type the spouses have -- we blood type by specific proteins on the surface of erythrocytes (red blood cells). It's a type of "self-marker" saying: "I am a part of this body. Immune system, do not attack me." It's a defense mechanism that also allows the destruction of ALIEN blood in your system (ie. if B blood is transfused into someone with A blood).
