A 17 YEAR OLD SAY SHE DOESN'T NEED HELP FROM ANYONE EXCEPT FOR HER PARENTS AND FRIENDS. WHENEVER HER SIBLINGS OR RELATIVES TALK TO HER OR HELP HER, SHE WOULD PUSH THEM AWAY AND SAY SHE DOESN'T NEED THEM AND THAT IT IS NOT THEIR BUSINESS. SHE FEELS SHE DOESN'T NEED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OR GUIDANCE. SHE FEEL THAT WAY WHEN SHE WAS VERY YOUNG. EVEN WHEN SHE DEMANDS HELP, SHE WOULD NEVER ASK FOR HELP FROM THEM. WHY IS SHE THIS WAY? ALSO, SHE DOESN'T LIKE TO HELP THEM EITHER EVEN WHEN ASKED.

She either doesn't feel supported by them or has been shamed by some one in the past. If you push, she will resist. Tell her the door is open and let her decide.

Some people are just like that. She sounds as if she is a very independent person and doesn't want to be bothered by other people's problems. She may think she feels justified by not allowing her siblings or other relatives to butt in. Did she ever have a fight or argument with her siblings? Maybe her siblings hurt her feelings or put her down in some way of another. When a person is hurt deeply enough by certain individuals, their actions towards the ones that wronged her can go one of two ways. Either A) she wouldn't want anything to do with them or B) she could forgive them and give them another chance. By the sounds of it, she chose A.

If you are the party that is responsible for her acting this way, please respect her right to choose how to deal with things. But if you are her friend, then be as supportive as you can. Don't condemn her for her choices. Accept her choices and go on with your life.

Good luck to you and I hope I was helpful to you!
Have a great day!

The phrasing of your question, in addition to the all-caps, indicates that you hold your "side of the story" or belief to be true, quite possibly just as stubbornly as she denies your help.

The best advice for any situation is communication. Without it, people might as well just cover their ears and shout at eachother.

She does sound stubborn. But there is a reason behind it and if she is able to turn to her parents and friends then maybe they will be able to understand why she is the way she is. Communication.
