i have this friend,he treats me like a little sis but i have feelings for him,he doesnt like me as a "g/f" because when ever we chat,he talks about my enemy lets call her "shannen"

I am happily married and 100% loyal to my wife. So what is the nicest way to deal with a girl/woman hitting on you?
I used to just brush it off, but today a very sweet young girl had the courage to approach me at the mall and flirt, and I think I hurt her feelings by being so blunt.

I'm single 24 going on 30 and I think I am happy, but why do I feel sooo alone? Constantly asked, "why are you single?" Because, I am told I intimidate people. HA!!! I don't know what I am doing wrong. I thought is was a good thing to have balance.

My mother in law came over to visit and seen a empty b day cake container and said whos birthday was it? my husband said it was mine and she didn't have a reply. About three days later she was over again and seen on the calendar it was written Lori's b day and said "oh, Lori it was your b day?" I replied yes, and she still said nothing. I wish I had said something because it still bothers me, but I'd feel stupid bringing it up now as it's been 5 months ago. Isn't it rude that she didn't wish me a happy birthday? Then on x mas came over and didn't bring me a gift! (I was at my moms house when she came over) She brought me a small gift three days later but I felt offended that she came over on christmas and had a gift for my husband and not for me. Am I just crazy or does she not like me?

I"m trying not to push but it's hard because I know he is hurting. I asked what is wrong and he said it's work stuff. He went for a run but it didn't help. So I told him to go see his friend because he can talk to her better then me. I'm white and have been dating a Korean guy for three months. He's 27 and I'm 37. (he persued me.) We have fallen in love. He lives with his parents and is going to school. His mom is upset he's dating a 37 yr old white woman. His mom wants him to find a "good Korean girl." His father's upset that he's not moving fast enough with his education and wants him to work more. My boyfriend told me he needs time to think and feels stretched. I was sexually abused by step-father from age 7yrs old until 17 yrs old. Afraid to tell my mother, and when I did try, my step-father denied it. How can a mother know this has happened to her child and continue to let it happen. Was my mother blind or did she just turn the other cheek? I finally moved out when I turned 18...only way to stop the abuse. People never spoke of this back then...we had to keep it to our selves. I'm 38 now..and very open about abuse with our children...they talk to us about everything! :)

I see so many posts about married people cheating, my kids all have friends whose parents cheated or got divorced and kids are growing up in single parent homes....I don't get it. I married my husband because I love him and respet him. If there is a problem in our marriage we talk it out...What is going on?

Why does it seem that this is now the exception and not the rule.

A simplistic question from a complex person. I have to wonder how many people are truelly happy in here? People seem to be so catty and mean most times. I am not catty but I am a tad arrogant and "in your face." I assume that the reason that people are so mean and touchy is because they are not happy or insecure. So tell me are you happy??
