Develop more friendships. Any time you are worried about being second best, whether it is a BF or a BFF, you jeopardize the friendship because you become jealous and possessive. You do this because that one friend is tied to so many feelings.

If you have a few more friends, you won't have as much pressure to be 'best' with any, and you will be able to evaluate a guy you like more easily. After all, hooking up with him could ruin the friendship!

Nobody treat everyone fairly.. Someone will be love more, someone no need to talk but he/she being likes by everyone. Someone don't even't talk and everyone want to beat him out of hell...This is life. Never fair but what you can do it, do what you think is the best for you so you won't regret in the future.

Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love [phileo] of the brethren, fervently love [agape] one another from the heart, (1 Peter 1:22)

you have answered your own question. he likes you as a friend but as nothing more. get over it and if you really can't then maybe stay away from him for a while even though it will be really hard its better than the pain you must feel everytime you look at him and know he doesn't like you as a g/f. be strong !!! your a woman after all you can do anything!!!!

good luck.
