I really need your help on this one. I'm older than 18 and my step-father is driving me nuts, crazy, up the wall, and down it again and whatever else that I can come up with!!!! Sometimes I really want to hurt him soooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a step mom of an over 18 chaild and sometimes I want to stangle him but I don't, I have learned it is not worth my energy. Whatever the problem is, address it or ignore it. Avoid him if you want to. It seems to be the age since our situations are on both sides and I'm sure it'll pass. I just don't want to make any mistakes that can jeapordize the future because as we get older and we mature and everyone says to themselves. Man, I so regret acting like that. It'll pass, just pay low.

The fall out from divorce goes on and on and will thru out your life if you choose to let it.
Since your 18 and still at home you have to live by the house rules.
if you dont wan to then you might want to move out,its a tough situation but he may also feel that your out of HSchool and that you need to move on.
To avoid huge problmes stay out of his way and follow the rules, make plans so you know where your going.
If you cant move out then I would suggest being around him as little as possible but help out around the house.
Most of all be respectful.

I feel your pain; I am also over 18 and I can't stand my step-father. But I don't have to deal with him too often as once my mother married him they moved further away so I only see them once or twice a year now. I deal with him for my mother's sake but I really do not like him.
If you can, just try to avoid him.

Then move out, if your older than 18, you could get away from him by moving out and getting on with your life.

I feel you except my problem is with my step mom!! I love my dad very much but my step mom drives me CRAZY!! she is like a frickin robot on upperss!! good luck hope everything works for you!! â¥

as a stepparent i can tell you that it's not easy for him either.sometimes he probably wants to hurt you sooooooooo bad too.you go into a marriage because you are in love with someone,not thier childrel.i adore my husband,but his babies' momma ruined thier children.nobody can stand to be around those brat kids!!!give your stepdad a break,he didn't marry you!
