I'm single 24 going on 30 and I think I am happy, but why do I feel sooo alone? Constantly asked, "why are you single?" Because, I am told I intimidate people. HA!!! I don't know what I am doing wrong. I thought is was a good thing to have balance.

To me, intelligence and maturity are 2 of the biggest turn-ons. Unfortunately, I have a hard time finding either/or.

There are plenty of dudes that aren't looking for that though. These are dudes that you probably don't want though. I mean, do you want a dude that doesn't appreciate those positive qualities?

What activities, life experiences, etc. make you so mature and intelligent? Has anyone ever told you why you may intimidate people? I am just curious.

Peeps that ask why you are single are doing so to compliment you. It should make you smile. YOu know as well as I do that anyone could go out and get a gf or bf if he or she wanted to.

Just curious, but what kind of man are you looking for. If you can, be as detailed as possible.

It definitely can be intimidating to a man who is less mature and/or intelligent than you are. How much depends on the character of the guy and on yours. If you are arrogant and conceited also, that will obviously make it worse.

If you find that you are more intelligent and mature than most guys you meet, maybe you should look for different situations in which to meet men - where you'll find men more compatible with you in terms of these qualities - intelligence and maturity.

Intelligence and maturity are what i look for in a woman. It's too bad you're too young for me. Not that I would mind having a 24 year old girlfriend but my intelligence and maturity tell me to find one closer to my age.
Hang in there.Don't play dumb to catch a man. It takes a little longer for a boy to realize he's a man. Look for someone a few years older.

somtimes it can be intmidating. for some guys that are not mature or intelligent sometimes it would make them feel "stupid" or that they would have to compete either that they are insecure. i dont think i have been intmidated once in my life beings most girls i meet are rather shallow/selfcentered/mean/snotty.

(another contributing factor to why i am still single)
