the man is an unabashed hypocrite living an opulent lifestyle, flying around the world in a private jet, uses more energy in one day than the rest of us use in a year, has a 'carbon footprint' bigger than montana, and yet you fools can't seem to get close enough to his anus...how does this make you feel? to me, it makes you the equivalent of human tater-tots...thanks for that one andrew...

NASA data shows that Mars is also expieriencing Global Warming. It has warmed by appx .5C since 1970. However, Mars is a totally barren planet with no life whatsoever so the problem is obviously due to natural forces, right? Why not the same here on Earth?

On the other hand, one of the researchers concludes that variations in radiation patters and temperatures across the planet's surface are generating strong winds, which in turn stir up massive dust storms, trapping heat and rasing global temperatures.

Is this just a "convenient" excuse to further the GW/CC alarmists' agenda or can we finally take the blame off ourselves?

i know that each state already has an awful drought but which state is worse-off as of right now? i'm from north georgia, just outside of atlanta and i know it's very very badd there! but now i'm a college student living in florida, and floridians say that florida is worse-off in drought because of sink-holes. and i'm not all that sure about alabama.

I really can't think of any other thing other than it would be cheaper to get in a car a go to a restaurant. Any ideas?

I don't want this to turn into a partisan discussion. However, I keep receiving e-mails from my very conservitave uncle telling me that not only is global warming a farce, it completely disagrees with the Bible. My question is, so what? What if global warming isn't real? Does that make it less important to find cleaner ways to live? If you are against people that are claiming to fight global warming, why? Please don't make this about right or left wing politics. I want to know who it would really hurt to do things in a more environmentally friendly way.

For example, how long does it take to recycle a bunch of old papers into new paper? Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, because surely not months, right?

Just curious…

Only if it's really small? (cigarette butt, gum wrapper)

Depending upon whether it's biodegradable matter?
(Apple core, tomato slice you didn't want on your sandwich?)

If it's somewhere where some will be sure to pick up after you(like in the park)

Or somewhere that no one ever goes (you are driving across southern utah desert and you shoot your McDonald's bag out the window)

Do you think that there is too much trash on the ground, and if so, does it bother you?

It bothers me a lot to see so much rubbish on the ground, but I think that I am the only one that it bothers.

Ive heard alot of mixed messages.
From what I understand, eating red meat is one of the top 3 sources of global warming, but WHY?
I then read recently that the whole beef/global warming concept wouldnt actually do anything to help our earth!
Ive stopped eating beef, but Im still unsure if Im making a difference.
Can someone explain this to me?
Thanks!

You know the sticker - the one that identifies the car as a Hybrid. How important is this sticker to you?

Would you buy a hybrid without this sticker? Is it important to you to show your friends you 'care' about the environment, or do you drive a hybrid because it's doing what you think is right?

What if someone stole this sticker from your car? What would you do?
