I was at the local Whole Foods the other day, and I saw lots and lots of apples. There were local apples, but they were conventionally grown. Then there were organic apples from all the way across the country. Considering conventional apples have a fairly high pesticide residue, according to the EPA, which woudl be the more environmentally friendly choice--local but conventional or distant but organic?

Professor Zbigniew Jaworowski reports that we have "False Low Pre-industrial CO2 in the Atmosphere". He spent 40 years studying glaciers for a reconstruction of the history of man-made pollution in the global atmosphere. He says that snow on top of the glaciers has air circulating through it for thousands of years before it compacts and freezes to the point that air is trapped in tiny bubbles. He also says that chemical changes occur under pressure and due to the salinity of the water. When the cores are drilled they form cracks and get contaminated with drilling fluid. All these factors produce a very low resolution CO2 reconstruction. Does anyone know of another method of reconstruction that yields a higher resolution data set or another method that can confirm the present data?

I have seen other reconstructions based on Stomatal frequency of different types of plants, but I don't know how accurate they are.

My family just moved into a 5 bedroom house and the weather is getting kinda chilli. To make matters worse, my room stays cold constantly. I had an area heater with automatic shut-off to keep my room a certain temperature thoughout the days and nights. My mom told me not to use it because it might run up the utility bill. Now, she has the heater and my room is the only one that's really cold. And to make matters worse, it's about to snow. The only way that I can get it back is if I can convince her that my little area heater with automatic shut-off is more economic than the central heating system in our house that doesn't heat up my room in the first place..

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

:)

Sources are very much welcome and needed if possible... :)

It would be great to use MAGLEV (Magenetic leveation) enabled vehicles on the roads to eliminate pollution ? It will also ease traffic problems. I know it is impractical and costly. But I guess these ideas will be given great importance or thought only when
our *** gets burned with x-rays after the ozone layer gets ripped of?? What do u think??

the most about global warming has now become the biggest producer of greenhouse gases? And shouldn’t the state as a whole be sued by the federal government for doing so? They would sue another state that was doing something constructive like creating electricity to run our homes.

Article in the Yahoo News front page.

Trees are what convert carbon dioxide to oxygen. So? How do we prevent forest fires.

In the case of CA fires it was about a person setting fires. And also, http://www.kimclement.com prophesied about this before it happened. So? I see that God gave the devil permission to do this. And it has global affects.

What the devil meant for destruction, God turns for good.

Whizzing one time in the garden eliminates having to flush 1.6 gallons of clean water down the drain. It saves money and reduces water consumption. It might even save a river or a reservoir if the boys took it outside.
