How do aircraft carries cause pollution? What have they done to fix the problem, if anything?

The exhaust from the jet engines would be the only real contribution. Carriers are nuclear powered, so those emissions are negligible. I guess you could keep the planes on the ship, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the whole thing.

The average carbon emission for each British flyer was 603kg (1329lb) a year, more than a third higher than Ireland in second place with 434kg and more than double that of the US at 275kg, in third place.

Carbon emmission contributes to the addition of greenhouse gases. Accelerated greenhouse gases lead to global warming. Thus, that is the major concern especially the pollution is in the atmosphere nearer to the breeding ground of greenhouse gases

Steps have been taken i suppose to handle such crisis. Research and development are on the rise as firms source out for environmental friendly use of energy. The goverment can also impose tax to reduce amount of flights

well we will be inventing new planes which work on solar and biogas!!!!
