I take way too much. Love blinds us. Look at the situation outside of your emotions if you can, then make a decision.

How do you define 'crap'? Jesus said if anyone slaps you on the other cheek, turn the other one. The Bible says you must forgive in order to be forgiven.
We are also told to use wisdom at all times. I believe if you are being challenged by another you should find another way to accomplish your goal, don't take that route to school, or kill someone with kindness. Sharp words cause anger but a soft answer turns away wrath.
Since you are not a patient person maybe you have an opportunity here to learn this beneficial trait. Only you can decide how to act in this situation; however, I would encourage you to act -- not re-act.

I'm an older person, quite patient, but aware. I take very little crap from anyone nowadays before I pull the plug. I've hung on too long in the past, and been made a fool of, and been taken advantage of. Never again.

This is a far rangeing question...The crap you take bepends on the circumstances,if the person is a known nutter why is he speaking to you???maybe he is not the local nutter, then there are hundreds of people who may give you crap.Think a while how many have you come up with.Pull the plug???Take out the telephone plug or put out a contract.I think you need to give more detail to the question.

depends on the situation and the time. At work more than I would like to, but the $ is too good to quit. With a boyfriend, too quick to pull it.general public, about two minutes worth!

Depends on who the person is and if they have a reason for it. Talk to them and ask them to explain their actions
