Could it actually be proven in court that the planet is warming? Or could it possibly be a statistical fluctuation in global temps? Why do we still have winter ? If there really was global warming, how do you explain the Dustbowl Era? Could it possibly be that the earth is constantly warming and cooling? Remember the Ice Age? I feel that the Democrats are making this as much of an issue as Ethics was when Hillary and Bill were in office. Remember, the earth has been warming and cooling for a very long time. It is not any evil plot by the Evil, nasty, mean, cold hearted Republicans, to destroy the planet. Could Mr. Gore back up any of his statements in a court of law? Can they be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt?

In flashlights they make an incredible amount of light per battery, are very bright, and last about forever.

Are they being adapted to use as household lighting? If so, when will they become widely available?

Are they more efficient than and less polluting (mercury, manufacturing waste etc?) than CF's?

How would anyone know when the problem of global warming was fixed?

The climate always changes. And if the climate naturally changes, then we should always have climate change.

How is this bad, and how would we know when man made climate change is over?

When I go in the closet or laundry room I usually only have the light on for two to five minutes at a time, but might cycle them 10 times if I'm have a few loads to do. Is it better to use regular bulbs which light up instantly or C.F. bulbs which are usually still warming up when I turn them back off.

do you just dismiss it because it doesn't fit in with what you already believe to be true,

or

do you wait until you can prove one side to be wrong and the other right?

If someone waits until the data can be verified, are they a skeptic?

I am waffling over trading my sweet Jeep SUV for a more practical form of transportation. Can you help with the decision. I love my Jeep but with global warming, gas prices, etc..... I feel compelled to downsize. I drove the Mazda3 and love the zoom zoom, but it does not have 4wheel drive, all the space, etc..... What say you all????????????????

I have tons of old hair product and body lotions, and tossing it down the sink and into the water system seems un-earth-friendly. Should I bag them and throw them in the trash (then rinsing/recucling bottles, of course.)

We are going to encourage recycling, promote awareness of environmental dangers, and collect recyclable materials around campus. WE NEED A NAME THAT WILL SUIT OUR CAUSE.

Basically, I just want everyone to work together to save our beautiful planet.
So, would you like to help?
Great!!!
All you have to do is do two or more "green things" today, like turning off all of the unused lights in your house, gathering up some recyclable trash and recycling it, or walk, cycle or use public transport to get to work tomorrow. Then answer in what two or more green things you did today (remember: the more, the merrier!)
Thanks for stopping by to do your bit!

Why? Are they just caring about their stocks and oil buissnes and those kind of things? Like my father doesn't even believe in Global warming. Most adults don't believe Global Warming! I have never met an adult who cares. I have heard of some who do, my father came back from work and told me about a person who cared and had an environmentaly-friendly buissness. But I have heard those consequences will be around when I'm still alive, like for eg: Fish will become extinc in 50 years, and i'l be like what? around 60 years old or something and they won't even be alive by then. But why don't they care, and how do I get my family to care? I've triend so many things, but it just won't work :(
