Yes i undestand the tree hugging aspect but as teens want something inovative and creative enough to make an impact on ohter teens and take action.

Hello there-
I may not be of much help. I am the head of a charity for soldier's in Iraq, and I wonder what the people I spoke to while starting it, would have thought if I had not taken the time and effort to come up with a name myself?
Maybe you should be talking to the other group member's about what your name should be, after all they are the ones who have to walk around campus as representatives of the club, so shouldn't it be their choice?
If you need a name before admitting members, then simply sit down and talk with some like-minded students who have not joined yet, or you could review some cool books on recycling or environmental awarness and maybe put together a name from terms that are used in the book.
Simply put, why let a bunch of people that you don't know have influence on a club that you are starting by allowing them to pick your name?
I hope you find one that you all like and good luck with your club.

I like calling myself an unrepentant TREE HUGGER. It's the old, take the insult and make it your name. Some play on that. Years back the Spotted Owl was the environmental joke, how about "Advocates of the Spotted Owl" or ASOs for short? Or you could link green stuff with your favorite student activity in The Green Beverage Cooperative...
