No!!! I think about the person who has to pick up after me, as I work for my local council, and these guys are the poorest paid workers in England, and yet they do an awful job. We had one poor guy in the other day, he had a gash down his arm that was 7'' long, and required 6 stitches, simply because some idiot threw a broken bottle into the undergrowth he was clearing rubbish from. If only people gave a thought for these guy's, and also the animals who suffer too, through man's selfishness. A dead fox was found the other day, with plastic from a six pack wrapped around it's neck, that kind of thing is almost a daily occurance.

If it's biodegradable and the place I am throwing it is somewhere I know it won't be (or become) an eyesore, then yes, but otherwise no. I am part of a cleanup organisation so I am very careful about this now...but even before that, I have not done that since ...I don't know...maybe when I was a pre-teen and didn't care about such things as litter.
You are not the only one that it bothers...did you know there is a litterproject? It's something global...you can join...and you pledge to pick up one piece of litter a day...I found it in a book called "500 ways to change the world." I thought it was a cool idea, but i have only just looked up the site. Although...you know you will be picking up other people's litter...can't avoid that...but if it bothers you to see the litter...at least you can feel better by having done something about it. :)

This is one of my biggest pet peeves!! I cannot stand to see people throw trash of any kind on the ground!!! What's worse is when someone throws there trash on the ground and there's a trash can like 4 feet away!!! I hate it when you're in a really beautiful place and you look around only to see trash on the ground!! Even if I rolled down my car window and something flew out I would turn back just to pick it up!!!

Yep you caught me. Yes I do on some occasion throw stuff on the ground when done. Not always and not stuff that real big. I never toss and garbage out the window of a car driving. But why am I explaining myself a litterer is a litterer. Yes I would say it bothers me especially if I see garbage on the ground when a can is near by. But there's not always a can around lots of times too.

Integrity means doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking. I won't even toss a gum wrapper. It vexes me to no end to see that people are so lazy that they can't walk 10 FEET to a trash can because it's just too far, so they toss their trash on the ground. It's not an environmental thing with me..........I just hate lazy people!!! I see knuckleheads toss stuff out of their cars instead of just waiting until they get home to put it in the trash. I'm sick of watching people flick their cigarette butts out the window to explode across my windshield. We have an over abundance on grass fires on highways that are caused by people that think the cigarette butt will make their car stink. Guess what.........................IT ALREADY DOES STINK!!!!!!!! More than likely, the car came equipped with an ashtray, so use it!!! It's the law!!!! (he says, climbing down from the soapbox).

Never!!!
Apple cores, tomato slices, etc, sure! they are natural and maybe a bird or wild animal can eat it.
Sometimes I do get sick of picking up after people, but I cant just NOT do it because I feel guilty for Mother Earth!
I wish we had some sort of enviromental police, where I could pull over and ticket every s.o.b that throws out their cigg butts!

I would only throw something natural like an apple core, which is like throwing a leaf on the ground. Anything else is trash and should be put in a trash can. Yes, there is too much trash on the ground. I saw somebody throw paper onto the subway tracks recently and had the strong urge to shove them onto the tracks as well.

that's what happens while a cat is attempting to dislodge a foreign places merchandise it has eaten. some cats will consume something on the floor. I had a cat that enjoyed curling ribbon on presents that brought about her to circulate to the vet and value me approximately $4 hundred. If she controlled to get all of it up, she would be in a position to be high-quality. If she starts off vomiting returned she would be in a position to might desire to work out a vet for the blockage. This no longer in easy terms motives extreme dehydration straight away, however the blockage might nicely be deadly. you will might desire to be very careful around this cat by ability of holding each little thing with string, rubber bands etc placed away.

I throw things like apple cores and watermelon rinds. When I do though, I make sure that they are somewhere that will not be seen or make the place look junky. For example, I don't throw them beside a path in a park, I would through them in the forest in the country. Most of the time, it all goes in the garbage (or my personal composter when applicable!).

No, except for spitting my gum out. It's a bad habit that I'm trying to stop because I know that gum takes a long time to break down. I try not to spit it in high areas of foot traffic though.
