If plants make oxygen and all animals take oxygen then how can more oxygen be made for us?

exp. the iceage. Man didn't bring that on. If you a have reasonable answer (beyond the tv/newsweek says so) please tell me the scientific references that helped you reach your opinion.

For me, it's the little plastic cups Luigi's Italian Ices come in. I use them for all sorts of things, taking my lunch, as drinking glasses, scoops of soy delicious, as food dishes for my rabbit, cleaning paint brushes. They're great little all-purpose containers.

to help reduce global warming?

yes, i am aware that same people don't believe it exists. but the consequences of doing nothing is far greater than making a few subtle lifestyle changes.

I want to know if anyone has modeled this scenario. And please educate me if I have some fundamental misunderstandings about any of this. But less just say that tomorrow, all cars suddenly were converted to hydrogen powered cars emitting nothing but water as exhaust. What would the climatological effects be of introducing all that water into the atmosphere? My gut tells me that there would be fairly significant effects related to weather, water levels, ozone, whatever.

I have asked this question before and been called a left wing, environmentalist cook. I have no political agenda in asking this. I just want a thoughtful answer and some references to facts and data related to this topic.

I was walking back from the aviary where I keep my falconry bird (common buzzard - not a pet and kept legally) the other day. A fox ran across the road, and I followed it to find a family of foxes. It was getting dark, couldn't tell how young the kits were. I don't want to harm them, but I don't want them to eat my bird. I also don't want to disturb them.

I thought of maybe conditioning them to hunt in the opposite direction by dragging food away from the aviary. They'd smell it and eat it, and if I did it repeatedly perhaps they'd learn that food was in that direction.

Or perhaps the aviary is fox proof already: it has a concrete floor and stable doors (I'm closing the top one at night now). There is a hole in the bottom that is blocked up with chicken wire and bricks.

Anyone know enough about foxes to tell me if my aviary is good and solid, or if not how to detract from it? Foxes are about 20 metres from aviary. I know there's other foxes around, but not a family as close.

Typical government efficiency - they announce this with huge publicity but have totally underestimated that people might want to use it! Every time I've tried, I get the too busy message.

My pool has been invaded by hundreds of baby frogs. I skim them out only for them to return. Has anyone ever had this problem, and how do I get rid of them? I've tried to be nice, but know it's time for them to leave (no matter what I have to do!).

I've just found out that i'll be restricted to using "smokeless fuel" in the house that I'm buying.

Forgive me if I'm being a bit dim, but how does that work with BBQ's? Would I be able to use a charcoal BBQ in the garden or would that be considered a 'smokey' fuel?

If anyone knows and can share, that'd be great!

Thanks

Its all "the environment" and all this air-headedness. Why don't I see advertising campaigns about all the people who die because of localised pollution in the cities of developing nations?

Do you think they care about coral? And the millions of dollars spent for "global warming" just so some rich westerners can spend all their vacation money to go and snorkel in Australia, or see a whale for about 1 minute? Why are whales and coral and cellebrities, and ocean-front homes being flooded and future air-conditioning expenses more powerful in marketing campaigns for global warming - than all the people who die from smog? Or perhaps that is the only way to even attempt to appeal to us because most people are very shallow?

Toyota makes the economical Prius...and then it makes the giant Land Cruiser...Because the large companies have the technology, but are at the feet of the customer's choice. Why blame them so much for all the pollution?

A fundamental understanding of economics being my source.

So it is changes in carbon dioxide levels which occur AFTER changes in temperature, which themselves are the ultimatley the result of the sun?

And dont volcanos, fires, and the oceans produce many times more carbon dioxide than our factories?

And havent temperatures been fluctuating even more violently than this when looked at in the true scale of the age of this planet...billions of years (not mere hundreds).

Environmentalists, please don't get angry if I do not adopt your beleif system. I am a naturally skeptical person when it comes to using science to promote a whole stream of popular culture.

If you agree or disagree, show me where you learnt it from was an unbiased and well-established source of scientific theory.
