I seem to see it used in dried fruit which I love. Do I have to give it up?

It's used quite a bit in foods and if you ingest too much you'll know it...friends will stand farther away from you, you'll make odd noises when you walk and for everyones sake stay AWAY from open flames.

N O In the levels that are used it just prevents the growth of bacteria. It is about the same as salt that was used to cure meat.

It should be fine its use as a preservative I couldn't find anything about it being toxic so you should be safe
