to stop the crazy, factless hype about "Global Warming" and particularly greenhouse gasses...and Yahoo doesn't have a shred of this story anywhere??? The truth is finally getting out and this liberal, eco-nutcase driven media ignores it. Is this censorship??

Most of the historic buildings, corporate offices in London are illuminated in the night, wasting a huge amount of energy. Nobody is talking about them. Is the CO2 debate being used for putting up more taxes on people rahter then really saving the energy.

This pathetic excuse of a government believes that pricing us off the road is the answer to environmental problems. I suggest that we outlaw Tea and Coffee!! Think about it, Tea and Coffee are imported from far away and therefore we clock up millions of miles of industrial travel to get it here. On the other hand think of the billions of killer watts of energy wasted every day to heat the water for these drinks! Let’s tax hot drinks out of existence! I need my car to get to work! No one needs Tea! Another plus is that people will sleep better!
Do you agree?

I believe that take care of Mother Earth starts within ourselfs, and that my actions can affect a lot. There are some things in my life I already do, but it would be usefull to get many ideas of small actions I can incomponate into my life, to prevent some pollution.

We recycle, buy unleaded fuel, hybrid cars, use solar panels, wind turbines, buy energy saving light bulbs, have decreased CFC usage etc but are we actually making a difference, however small? Experts bang on about the damage we are doing but there are millions of us who are trying to do what they tell us to do to help with global warming. Is it working?

IF the hypithetical sinario happens that the earth will once again rotate or shift on it's axis Dec. 21st 2012. Where would be the ideal place to go for survival. Earths realivence to the sun put us to different climates with the equator. Keeping in mind in the U.S. tornado alley, Humid east coast, dry west coast, ect. WHEN the earth falls to the right the north pole will be hot. and dry Southern end will flood then become the next ice age.
SO where would be good?
Remembering that the north pole will point at the sun and there will never be darkness EVER! at the northern end of the planet. AND constant darkness at the southern end of the planet. Where would be the happy medium.???

The very basic synopsis of this theory is that variations in solar activity have warming and cooling effects on the planet over time and as this changes the temperature of the oceans, the oceans turn from CO2 emitter (when warm) to CO2 sink (when cool) - thus making CO2 a mere by-product (and not the cause) of a warmer planet - this is why Al Gore's charts showing the correlation between warmer temperatures and CO2 levels looked so impressive.

I have never been a climate-change sceptic, because it is indisputable that the temperature of the earth has risen markedly since the early 1970s (it actually dropped markedly from the 1940s to the early 70s, and if you look back at literature from the 70s, you will see that the great fear was, in fact, global cooling!)

It is also very interesting to bear in mind the motivation of the very wide array of people who have a vested interest in promoting the theory of man-made climate change - and it goes right across the political spectrum

Breaking: Warming On Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, Neptune's Moon & Earth Linked to Increased Solar Activity, Scientists Say
Warming On Jupiter, Mars, Pluto, Neptune's Moon & Earth Linked to Increased Solar Activity, Scientists Say
By Lorne Gunter, National Post
Mars's ice caps are melting, and Jupiter is developing a second giant red spot, an enormous hurricane-like storm.
The existing Great Red Spot is 300 years old and twice the size of Earth. The new storm -- Red Spot Jr. -- is thought to be the result of a sudden warming on our solar system's largest planet. Dr. Imke de Pater of Berkeley University says some parts of Jupiter are now as much as six degrees Celsius warmer than just a few years ago.
Neptune's moon, Triton, studied in 1989 after the unmanned Voyageur probe flew past, seems to have heated up significantly since....canadafreepress.com
