In other words: who out there has a positive message rather than the defeatist doom and gloom espoused by Mr. Gore? Is there anybody who bases their projections on scientific fact for the betterment of humanity rather than the science fiction caused by distorting the facts for personal agrandizement?

The USFWS has listed that there are 1131 species that are endangered at this time. Since the formation of the Endangered Species Act in the 1970's only 12 species have been rehabilitated and removed from this list, now that just barely over a 1% success rate. Now how can we call that EPA and the USFWS successfull with a record like that.

Why don't we have dirt roads? I don't want the history of roads. I am just suggesting an alternative. Dirt roads are less intrusive to the natural environment, don't cause pollution, and are easy to maintain. Road maintainence today cost a lot of money and is difficult to keep up on. Any thoughts, opinions, facts?

It was found at my house in Hattiesburg Mississippi. That is southeast mississippi. I have looked all over the web and books to find out but could not. I have 2 daughters and I am very worried if it is poisonous or not. It was a baby about 13 inches long so there obviously is a mother, daddy and probally more sibbling snakes around. Can anyone please help me on finding out what kind of snake this was or if its poisionous or not. thank you so much.

Our homerwork today was to think about alternative fuels for transportation. apparently, "our generation" is resonsible for replacing fossil fuels. But I think the last generation is just trying to dump the work on us. Anywat, I was reading about hydrogen powered cars, and quite frankly, it seems like a perfect solution! but Is hydrogen a renewable resource? i am pretty sure it is, but i wanted to be sure.

PS did you know we will run out of tugsten in less than 140 yrs? better start apreciating flurescant lights!
