Will there be a huge cost to reduce the green house effect. And what do you think the costs will be. Could the world survive with or without it? I would like to know you're P.O.V's.

Green house effect is one of those popular politically correct words at this time, as is global warming. Words and phrases coined by the tree hugers.

True weather has changed dramatically over the past 20 years but not from any green house effect or global warming. If you do but a little research you can learn that the changes in the weather is brought about by the High-frequency Active Aural Research Program or H.A.A.R.P.

Do a little reading from the sights listed below and learn where it all comes from and why. If you research on your own you will find a lot of information.

we can't do anything to reduce the effect because the damage has already been done. We are now living in the consequences of our own actions and personally, I find that people won't realize the severity of the problem until something catastrophic happens 'close to home'. The simplest things that people can do to further reduce the emissions of greenhouse gasses arent getting done. Make the switch to halogen light bulbs rather than incandescent. Its a bit more expensive, but they last 10x longer and use up to 75% less energy. Use public transit instead of your car, or simply carpool to reduce the number of cars on the road. Switch off the lights when you're not using them. It's so simple, but people just don't care. And if we keep on going this way, we'll be headed for another Ice Age.

To answer your question... Yes it will cost a hell of a lot!

I like the greenhouse effect. We'd all be frozen stiff without it. There'd be no life as we know it without the greenhouse effect.

You're probably referring to the theory that human generated gasses are contributing to the greenhouse effect and thus global warming. If so, the effect is relatively minor compared to natural greenhouse gasses. Water vapor is by far the most important greenhouse gas. Methane is greenhouse gas which is naturally produced by plants and animals. The sun is the biggest driver of climate.

You should know that if there were no humans the earth would still be warming. Whether we can slow it down is debatable. We definitely cannot stop it.

Without the "green house effect" the Earth would not be suitable for life as we now know it.

Please don't let's get rid of the greenhouse effect. I like being alive.

I think you meant to say 'stop anthropogenic global warming'. In which case I most definitely think we should.
