Hello,
it all depends of country existing laws, existing other marine parks (if any), existing local habits, and what il the real goals of that particular park.
Basic rules are:
- No polluting activities (oil, mercury, lead, sewage,...)
- No garbage dumping
- No damaging activities (ie: wild anchorage, coral collecting, ...)
- No fishing - (or controled & reduced fishing) all or specific species.
- No fishing with toxic or explosive
- No hunting (seabirds, turtles eggs, ....)
- No beaches damages (sand collect, car driving, ...)
- Seashore protections (Ponds, river mouth, mangroves, ...)
- No mangroves wood cutting)
- Protection of nesting & nursing areas from human predation or disorders)
- Strict rules for motorboats & sea scooters.
- No shark feeding
- Island & seashore camping restrictions.
- ..... and more as needed...
My local marine park collect a fee for commercial tourist boats or activities inside the marine park.
