I need to use dance, music, visual art, or drama... for an Arts Integration college-level class. I already have a couple of websites that provide pictures of the symbols.

My daughter just turned 9 and is in 3rd grade. She came home today and said her teacher was teaching their Social Studies class that democrats are better that republicans. That democrats only care about the environment and republicans don't. That republicans don't care about people who are poor. Whether I am republican or democrat I do not think this is right or moral. We cannot teach children religion in schoolis it okay to teach these children their opinions on democrats. I am so upset about this and do not know what to do to get this to stop. Please tell me your thoughts on this. Is this legal? Please help!!!

I am considering entering this field and I want to hear from a current professor (be it associate, assistant, emeritus, whatever). I love the language that I have studied, and I would like to conduct classes entirely in the foreign language. How much time do you spend teaching? Are most of your classes conducted in the foreign language? How much research do you do? Do you like the college where you work at?

Finally, for a person just out of grad school who is hired as an assistant professor...is it possible that I will be able to teach classes conducted entirely in the target language (i.e. French). D you teach a lot of undergrad or grad classes? And if you give your age, if you don't mind, that would be great!

I'm a 14 yr old girl, and i seem to ALWAYS crave attention from my teachers - preferably favorite teachers - which are usually female (aged: 23-35ish - young and stylish and soft/caring). My mum is always there for me and i can talk to her about anything - so its not a lack in a mother figure or anything. I have a few favorite teachers i am scared i might have an obbsession with, wanting to dress and be the same as them and act like them and i always think about them 24/7 - and its these ones i crave the attention from. I promise and swear i am not gay but i love them to bits - and it worries me! please help! But, i always crave attention from them, i'm like a child, and i hate myself for it, but i always daydream about going into their classroom crying about something or imagine myself being sick in their classroom so they come up to me and i want them to reassure me and be sympathetic and sort of like put their arm around me if you know what i mean! please pls help! thank u SO much!

is it true, that teachers who are touchy with their students and put their hands on their students shoulders, etc...are the ones who dont get enough affection from their wives, children etc...
If your teacher does this all the time to almost everyone of their students, and puts his hand on your shoulder, gives you mini hugs etc. and you can just tell hes not a pervert. Why would a teacher be so starved of affection that he does this. I also have a teacher like this.

Should we do more to instill values into our young people? Should we try to counteract the materialism that pop culture is placing on them, by having special classes that focus on proper values, such as honesty, respect, acceptance and kindness? What if the parents are not teaching these things like most people seem to think they should?
