I'm in class 5 days a week and I work 5-4 days a week, with no option to work less. Two of my classes involve some serious reading...about 6 books and A LOT of articles. If this were anybody else would you drop a class? I would drop my Literture because the teacher is the type that brings no "energy" into his lectures. Not to mention he talks about the same thing and doesn't seem like he can actually cover whats on the schedule. Would it be smarter for me to just admit the load is too much with 5 classes and be safe with my scholarship?

well i live in Atlanta and i want to be a type of doctor/surgeon and i hear it's about 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school then residency, this "4 years of college" is done in a state college like University of Georgia? or can it be done in Emory University? does anyone know if both schools offer medical programs to become doctors, i mean do i take like a state college for the first 4 years then switch to a different one for medical school? i'm confused, anyway any help is appreciated, thanks.

I Made a bet with my parents if i could keep all good grades in school and did extra activities in school like sports and such..
i could get a laptop

Its been two weeks since school and my teacher today annoced it would be terrific if we all had laptops for her class, and to bring in one if we have one. I really want one, but i probly wont get one til the end of the year, ive done 2 sports since school started, Vollyball, and Dance...
I really really need this laptop..any suggestions onto how to get them to get me one for my birthday..which is in 2 weeks?

omg last year when i got up to read my report my legs started to shake uncontrollably!!
Today was the second day of middle school and our teacher said in about a week or two we will have to give speaches in front of the class.....i am terrified!!

so my school has a dress code thing where you HAVE to tuck in your shirt, and of course everybody hates it. anyways, after school ended, i was leaving school (i was still on campus) and this lady like, litterally yells at like 10 guys for not having their shirts tucked in, and sends them to detention right there, just like that. and its only the 3rd day of school! why do some teachers have to be so pissed off at the world and so strict?

our school dropped one of the 2 required grade 12 math courses this year. however, our class(entering g12) needed to know the information from this dropped course in order to start the 2nd course.

to help us, our grade 12 mathematics teacher did the kind favor of writing a 200-page booklet for us to look over during the SUmmer that went through all the main points we missed in the 1st course.

this way, we could enter the 2nd course with all the info we needed, even though we hadn't taken the first course.

I think this was a thoughtful thing to do and want to thank her, especially since this booklet must have taken weeks to write. nobody else (that i know of) has thanked her yet.

however, i don't want to sound like i'm thanking her only to get on her good side (like a brown-noser).

how can i do this?

i am a single mom reurning back to school and i work full time as well. i currently enrolled for 2 classes but is seems like i can never get enough time to get the reading done for both classes. it seem as if the most i can read is maybe 3 pages before i want to pass out. and the funny thing is that the books are some what interesting. i just feel overwhelmed because i feel like there is there is something some where i just not doing correctly. i dont have a social life so i know thats not where my time is going.

Hi everybody! I am a new Tiger Cub Den leader (8 first graders)... I have NEVER done this before so I am starting from square one... (help!!) ... Have any of you ever done this before and can anyone give me any ideas of how we go about doing this?? I will be getting the scouting book on Saturday, but would like anyone who has done this to give me a few tips on activities for the boys when we meet twice a month?? I'm a teenager of 13 yrs. in 8th grade. There's a boy in my class who probably for no reason just calls me a gay. I've told him to shut up as it's not true but he wouldn't. He probably made jokes around my friends about me as well. If I told my teachers about it, they would probably just punish him and the problem will become worse. Please help me make him stop saying that and keep his mouth shut.
