It would depend on school policy. Ask your school nurse or someone in the administrative office for your school's particular policy. This way, you'll know in advance what you need to do the next time you feel ill.

I can only comment on laws in Australian schools through personal experience. When my son turned 18 in Year 12, he thought he'd be able to do what you're suggesting. But the school will not allow it since he is still in my care.

Not sure... I think it depends on what state you're in. Here in WA state, in my school, you can sign yourself out, but who knows what's up everywhere else.

nope, if you're sick, they wouldn't allow you to go home by urself for fear you faint on the way.
