any advice would be much appreciated.

AP classes are basically introductory college courses. If you study hard throughout the year and take the AP exam in May, and do well (get a 4 or 5) many colleges will give you credit for the respective course...which means less money you have to pay for college.

Also, AP classes look great on your transcript. They show you can handle college level work, which is good. Of course, you have to get a good grade in the class, Bs or As.

Take as many as you can, making sure you can handle the courseload...it's a great experience to what college courses will be like...you'll have to study at home a lot for many courses, experience learning at a fast pace, etc.

My advice, if you can take an AP class, go for it!

1) If you pass the AP exam for a given subject you can earn college credits.

2) AP classes are tougher & more impressive on a transcript & for college applications.

3) AP classes help get you ready for the rigors of college.
