my child is attending a school for children with special needs and all the teacher gives her is only writing capital letters at the age or 7,8 and 9 yrs old. She is not joing the letters nor reading.
We went to the prinicipal to complain, he was very rude, he shouted at us and said he don,t care, it is all peanuts, we said why is our child cannot speak the language of the country and have no friends, he shouted at us and said do u know she is an english speaking child that is why she is handicap, he is supporting the teacher and so is the school system now our child is taken away from us by force and we were sent to the court in aug just because we was trying to help our by educating her which they refused to do and she was just born 1 year back now they are blameing us and saying we are the one, but they are threating us to put her in schools for children who are severely handicap and the school phys made the treat in english in the presence of our child that had her very scared.

I know that it doesn't matter that much but I was just curious. I am going to be in 12th grade in the fall, but school hasn't started yet. If I haven't started 12th grade, would that mean I am in 11th grade? This is related to another question I have. I looked at the UC school application. It considers grades earned the summer after 11th grade to be junior year grades. When I saw the extracurriculars section, it just asks for activities done in 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, and 12th grade. Based on what they do with grades, could I assume that the activities I will do will be considered done in the 11th grade?

I would like to attend a boarding school, preferably in the Northeastern region, or Southeastern, that offers scholarships or an affordable tuition. This school should be reputable, and an all girls school, both of these mentioned before. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! I really appreciate any answers.

It is just too early for teenage minds to function properly. As a teenager, I get 6 or 7 hours of sleep, but I fell so sleepy during school days.
High schools must start kinda late, and I really want to know your opinions!

I am writing a five paragrpah essay on comparing and contrasting of a chraracter of a book to myself. I already know the basic format to a five paragraph essay of; Introduction, 3 Body Paragraphs and Conlcusion. The thing that I am having difficulty with is with one of the Body Paragraphs. I have one 'Comparing Paragraph' and one 'Contrasting Paragraph', I just do not know what the third paragraph should be. I want to avoid doing another comparing paragraph or another contrasting paragraph alone. What other choices do I have, if any?

I was asked to join a high IQ school, but turned the offer down (I get shy when people tell me I'm smart!). I still want to be in a normal school. So, I'm happy. I am taking advanced algebra, English, and some other advanced classes. I am also looking to play a sport. I decided I will play goalie in a spring soccer tournament, but am still deciding whether I should play Football or Basketball. Any suggestions on how to take my classes or which sport I should play? Thanks for looking at my question!

I'm a 17 year old high school student who is very much into making short films. I already know that film is the only thing for me career wise and even though it's a very hard industry to break into, I plan on trying my hardest. At home I have serious family issues and although I'm always in the top percentile when tested on the FCAT (Florida's mandatory version of the SAT, sort of, including math, science, reading, and writing), proving that I am in fact intelligent, I am not doing well in school with all the stress in my life right now. My mother and I fortunately are moving soon and the family issues will be over and in the past, but I'll be moving out of my school district my senior year, so my credits would be ruined and I'd end up having to repeat the eleventh grade, therefore, I have decided to get my GED. With all that said, my question is: How does a GED affect someone going to college for a film degree in film? Will it really even matter when I get out of college?
