Nowadays there are lots of colleges / varsities private or public that offer lots of courses... compare 2 10-15 years ago and it's even easier to know where n what are the courses been offered coz we have the internet. Just go online check the course that you want to take and where, whether is near to whr u staying now or some other places or countries.
Since u know wht course u wanna take all u need 2 do now is to find out where will u do this course, which uni/college. Find out more about the college/uni. The easiest way is to actually go there and ask the administration ppl. Ask them if u can a tour. The best time would be whn these colleges/uni have an open day. Most colleges will have once or twice open day/s going on per year as a way to market their place.
Wht u need to consider when u wanna choose the colleges/uni are :-
1. Accommodation
2. Transportation (public transports)
3. Facilities (library, lab, studios, etc etc etc)
4. The colleges/uni name itself, whether is a famous uni/college or they just do twinning programs (this is important when u r out n looking for jobs if u wanna make an impression to ur future employer. An MBA from Harvard might have more value than other places, well maybe i'm biased in that sense but wht can i say i didn't set this typical mindset)
5. Sometimes there are certain colleges/uni that are well known for certain courses, due to the fact the professor of that particular courses have some sort of international recognition so it might be best to go there.
6. Maybe there are certain private colleges can give u some perks... like if u r the 1st 200 students to register u get a laptop(not that important but a plus point)
I guess i went on too detailed.
Whether a business course is a waste of time or not is not for anyone else to tell you. What u need to know is whether you gonna enjoy the course or not, put aside whether it will be good money in the future or not. Do u think u will like the course? Do u think u gonna enjoy learning the course? Coz if u don't or won't enjoy the course there's no point of doing it!
In order to find out whether u gonna enjoy it or not... check out the courses' modules, i thnk u can get it online... if u can't then u hafta go to the college/uni itself to find out. whilst u there u can actually talk to any of their consultants on the course/s that u wanna take. u can actually ask 4 their opinions if they think tht u might like other course rather than business... i'm sure they can help u determine this by asking u a few questions.
look at other options/courses ask some of the senior students over there... then only u decide...
don't just take from wht ppl say... like "u have no future with tht course" do ur own research! choose wht u think u gonna enjoy the most, coz when u enjoy it u will excel. Careers are wherever, u can find it anywhr, especially whn u don't look...
Do not worry about the future too much... 3-4 years frm now will not be the same... 10-15 years ago in my country IT was like the JOB of the century... not so many ppl venture into it... n now... we have about 3-4k jobless IT graduates... there are just too many... n most of them are not even specializing in any field... there are no different...
bear in mind that most courses that u do or will do can be expanded into a different arenas... it doesn't mean if u take psychology u gonna be a shrink...
so go ahead n read more... do more research b4 jumping on... most important thing is do enjoy the course tht u gonna take...

Even if you never worked a day in your life after getting your degree, it wouldn't be a waste. If you are planning a career, getting your BBA or MBA would be a great move, because it prepares you to step up into managerial and administrative positions (where the good money is......) rather than spend your working life in the lower ranks of the business. But it also gives you a broader outlook on the world and a wealth of information about the world - and if you have children, that can be an invaluable asset.
You go girl!
